Today I took my dog Chester to these guys. The people at the front were really nice, however the vet, Dr. Lee was cold hearted and after taking $551 for the visit provided me with no more information than when I went in. My dog has a likely metastasis to right lung. I took him there for answers and possible treatment plan. After agreeing to ultrasound and fine needle aspiration to examine cells in the growth she came back in the room with "yes i see the growth, but i was unable to get any cells to identify what it is, the only other option is surgery to take it out and see what it is, oh and that would be $3000". Ok, i said anything else? Nope. Nothing! No let see what lab work is showing currently, no this is what you may see going forward, no other considerations. I was dumb founded with this. Ive been taking my dogs to vets for years and this was by far THE COLDEST treatment we have ever received. To be honest I felt like they just took my money without a second thought for my dog. So before you go I would think twice. They might be great surgeons, but the service is worse than 3rd world country, from the doc anyways. I didnt get the feeling that they actually care what happens to my dog going forward. Just, come back if you want us to cut him open.

They give great care! Like them better than any regular vet I've found but unfortunately they are only emergency

They saved my dog's life!!!!! I ran in at 8 pm shouting "I have an emergency" and they took her immediately for care. I am so thankful. Dr. Kleiman and the emergency staff are first rate. Dr. Kerpsack and the surgery staff took great care of my dog during her recovery. Everyone was very professional and empathetic to both the patient and their panicked owners.

My beautiful little girl pitbull, Kai, has had allergies for years. When her dematologist left San Antonio, we were EXTREMELY fortunate to find Dr. Mitzi Clark in Austin at CTVSH. Dr. Clark got Kai's allergies under control with serum and the right meds. She and her talented tech, Tomi, taught us to help Kai and we now have a comfortable, happy dog not plagued with nail fungus, bumps, and itchies. And the best part...Kai loves her doc and tech. Dogside manner is everything! My husband and I highly recommend CTVSH and Dr. Clark.

To begin, let me say that I have previously been here to see Dr. Akridge, who is amazing. The woman at the front desk and the tech were both lovely. So why am I so peeved that I'd leave two stars? Because I schlepped all the way to Round Rock from NW Austin to have a rehab consult for my dog, only to be be handed a price list of rehab packages and told that they were too short staffed to do anything with my dog. His gait was not even observed, I was simply asked to describe any issues I thought might exist. Why even have me come in? And then make me pay something like $43? Oh, yes, I was told the initial consult would be $30, but turns out there's also a $13 chart fee. I was in that office for literally SEVEN MINUTES and paid $43 for the privilege.
