Story

Leander Veterinary Clinic is opening to serve Leander, Texas and surrounding area's veterinary needs. Services will include small animal medicine and surgery, boarding, with house and farm calls available by appointment, including for large animals. Dr Sam Morehead and his staff focus on clients' and their pets' specific needs, with the personal attention and care they deserve. The bond people have with their pets is a special thing. Our goal is to foster that bond. So give us a call or stop by. We look forward to meeting you.

I was a long time client of Leander Vet.  Always had great service until now. I boarded my bulldog with them , they overcharged me and my dog came home with an injury which they never bothered to tell me how to take care of it.  I feel like its all about the money and not the animals. I will get a new vet.

Very impressed with this place! I had a minor emergency with my dog and they were able to get me in immediately for treatment. My entire experience from beginning to end was outstanding. The customer service over the phone and during the visit were excellent, the doctor was very friendly and helpful, and the treatment was quick and affordable. They genuinely care about making sure you are well taken care of and they treat your pet like family. I would HIGHLY recommend this place to others, and I will be making this my primary veterinary office for my dogs going forward.

My two dogs and cat have seen Dr. Morehead and Dr. Whitehill for the past few years. I have been to several different Veterinary clinics in the Austin/Leander area and Leander Veterinary Clinic is by far my favorite. We don't live in Leander anymore and I still drive to see them for annual appointments and emergencies.

They always take the time to answer all of my questions during exams and explain everything in great detail. The receptionists are always nice and approachable. They have a new guest appreciation area with a Keurig drink machine and snacks while you wait! They also have dog biscuits at the front counter when you leave. 

Hands down the best. I wouldn't recommend any other clinic to my neighbors, friends and family! Thank you for your service!

I would give more than 5 stars if I could, amazing staff who made my 110 pound Anatolian feel comfortable. Came in for antibiotics & 4 days later it's like he's a completely new dog! Very inexpensive for what you get, highly recommend considering for your primary vet.
