This ISN'T a slam on the Roswell Police "Officers..." But this IS a slam at the clowns that answer the phones at the dispatch center... What a bunch of miserable losers they are! I report a scumbag dressed like a gangster... White, sitting out front of our tennis courts, smoking a doobie, drinking from a brown paper bag, wearing in a huge and puffy leather jacket, obviously out of place and up to no darn good... We know when something is up to absolutely NO Good... I had to repeat the location 4 times and got nothing but callous attitude and; "Can you repeat that? Stop yelling sir!" How about listening. I mean, it's half your job. The other is to simply type in a simple location. Wow, it's obvious you hate your job. Find another one at CVS or Walgreens where you would fit in better being at being a total P.O.S. "Helping" the public... Try listening calmly, typing the info in the computer and dispatching an officer to the scene. I felt like I was the one being questioned like a criminal on the phone while the real "thug" was seen slinging dope at my tennis courts. I wouldn't trust these dispatchers to "dispatch" a pizza... Losers!

I came there on a Thursday morning for property and evidence they told me they'd be closed until Monday which made no sense, and that I had to make an appointment to even be able to see them about the property which also made no sense . Come Monday no one answers the phone , the front desk says to leave a message for them , but if no one's answering the phone why would they check messages ?! I can imagine I won't get my property for awhile..

This police department is an example of having nothing to do with serving or protecting. I was on my way to work around 1030am today. On 400N there was a HUGE tractor trailer tire in the middle Lane. Cars having to swerve and almost wreck. There was a Roswell motorcycle cop running radar 60ft behind it. Watching people swerve!!!!!!! He left to pull someone over as I passed. I've seen some stuff they've done before but to use an object in road as a distraction to pull people over and not move it to protect everyone's safety is disgusting.

I called the Roswell police because there was a white old man hunting deer in the back area of my house and some other neighbors and I were very uncomfortable with him walking and killing poor animals so close to us. My surprise was that the police that came to do the inspection didn't even ask the man to show him an ID neither a Hunting Permit. The hunter just said that he has all the permits and the police officer just believe him without seeing anything!!!! At the end just let him continue hunting. I am so disappointed of this!!!

2 kids, one that went to my school, and one that went to another, were gruesomely killed behind a publix in roswell by an incredibly sick man. The guy that didn't go to my school was shot in the head immediately, the girl the forced to remove her clothes and was sexually assaulted and then shot in the head. Regardless of obvious evidence, the roswell police had to bring in help from surrounding cities to get anywhere on the case. Instead of sympathy for the parents and providing an assuring public message that these two, basically babies would be remembered and the man had been found. They moreso boasted about the "excellent" work done on the case and acted as if people owed them. The only sincerity I saw out of the police was 1 detective, which I respect, that worked on the case and in court when she testified, she nearly couldn't stop crying. Other than that, the roswell police only proved that in the face of adversity and sadness, all they can do is give themselves a pat on the back.
