Worst automotive repair experience ever.  I am a fair person. I never want to cheat anyone, nor do I ever want to be cheated.  They are almost neighbors so I keep giving them the benefit of the doubt.  Should've known better.  My wife's car had an alternator that went out, so I called Cheney Auto Care Center for a quote on what it would cost to have them replace it. They said it would cost $325 which I thought was a fair price.  I still had her car loaded on the car trailer from picking it up from where it broke down so it was a matter of dropping the car off while it was still on the trailer.  So I took the car down, unloaded it from the trailer, and then headed home. About a half hour later, I get a call and said the repair cost will be $425. I explained how wrong it was to quote someone a price, have them drop the car off, and then a half hour later call them and say it was a hundred dollars more.  They had no reasonable explanation for this.   I immediately thought to myself oh they hooked me with a low price, and then figured I would be stuck because I would not want to load the trailer again and pay more and be willing to pay the extra $100.  Further, what was really odd was the price they said that they were having to pay for the alternator at a local auto parts store was easily over $100 more than what that same auto store told me just an hour earlier.   I tried to reason and explain this but they said there was nothing they could do. This made me quite concerned that the car is being repaired at such a place so I told him I was going to come down with the car trailer again and pick it up.  This is not the first poor experience I have had with them. I also have another vehicle that was in to their shop multiple times for an air-conditioner problem and after hundreds of dollars, to this day it still does not work properly.  Attempting to do business with this shop has been a substantial waste of my time and money.  As an alternative in Cheney, I highly recommend going to AMG for fair, polite, and competent work.

SHADY SHOP!!

PLEASE READ WHOLE THING- This place is going downhill..

Our car had been sitting for well over a year and a half.

Being a very valuable car, we called to have the fuel system cleaned and the gas to be cleaned from the car (tank and system).

After being given a quote, and bringing the car in, we tell them that the battery is also potentially old. My girlfriend is told that it will take a few days because they will need to "drop the tank."`

My girlfriend goes to pick up the car.

A few days later, we realized they didn't even do the gas AT ALL! 

They said that because they got the car to start, the gas must've been good enough! And because it didn't "smell like bad gas.." 

Now we ran a year and a half worth of bad gas, when we were told that it would've been removed from the car.

Service was good, but $50.00 for an oil change?! What a rip-off. I won't be back.
