The food was delicious, but the staff was so rude! I took a group of people for my friend’s birthday on all you can eat chicken fried steak night.  As my friend was going to be late, we ordered an appetizer to wait. After the appetizer, the server immediately brought our bill. Obviously there was only my family and we were waiting on a much larger group. Then after everyone showed up, we ordered dinner. We were offered broccoli and were brought a veggie mix with no broccoli in it all. It wasn’t busy so there was no reason for the server to be inattentive, but our drinks were constantly empty and she rarely checked back with us. We had to flag her down to tell her there was a problem with our food. At the end of our meal, She asked if we were together or separate and the server was vocal about being upset that it was separate tickets because she wanted to add gratuity.  Why add gratuity when you certainly have an earned it. Everyone in our party left upset at the lack of service. I am embarrassed to have taken my friends.

What a wonderful find!! New owners mid-2017 but this was our first visit. Came for breakfast...service and food was great!...exactly what we were looking for in a family restaurant.  Restaurant is clean, fresh and tastefully decorated. There is also a meeting room area.  We hope to make Ches’s our regular Sunday breakfast stop!!

Out of lemon, out of catfish, out of chicken for chicken fried steak (large size), had to remind waitress for nearly everything, from our drinks to sides, or any other small requests, to cheese missing from bacon cheeseburger.  None of our plates were even picked up while we sat there either.  Usually not this bad, we frequent there, but will probably be taking a break.

Two other tables were there and it took forever to get our food. I ordered the seafood platter and the fried food was fresh, the mashed potatoes were straight from the fridge as well as the gravy. I sent it back and they microwaved it until the seafood was overheated and was over nuked, the potatoes were barely warm past room temperature.
Husband ordered a grilled turkey sandwich, he said it was ok. Son ordered the meat breakfast skillet, he liked it. Friend ordered the chicken Alfredo. The noodles we're that weren't covered in sauce came out old and yellow from being overheated in the microwave and the sauce tasted like it was straight from the jar.
It was my second time eating here, there first. No one wants to come back because of mediocre taste of the food. I was looking forward to home style and home cooked food and left highly dissatisfied and disappointed. 
Service was very, very slow. It was difficult to get drink refills. Hhhmmmppphhhh!

The food is good but i have been waiting for almost a hour for my food while I see everyone who was here after me get served. Not coming here again.  Server did not even apologize for the  inconvenience
