Chesrown Chevrolet Buick GMC is a family owned and operated Dealership that has been serving Central Ohio for over 50 years. Founded in 1963 when Norman Chesrown acquired an Oldsmobile franchise, Chesrown has consistently been regarded as one of Ohio's top automobile dealers. Jim Gill, Son of Norman Chesrown, currently owns and operates the dealership with help from his oldest Son, Ryan Gill. Both Jim and Ryan Gill can be found in the dealership everyday working to create lifetime customers, something you don’t find at most dealerships.

This is being written by my husband, Greg. I bought a GMC truck and had a great experience. Rob Brown had the right balance of information , accommodation, and salesmanship. After taking a couple trucks for a drive we arrived at one I liked. Rob and Benji put together a final offer that was very good. I had reservations due to the bed length they worked with me on options to make it acceptable. I still ended up with cold feet, having to think about it. Two days later I called Rob to let him know I was interested in buying the truck and there was no retraction of the best offer they gave me. I wanted to change a couple things on the truck and Rob was very helpful in getting everything done I needed and the shop did a good job with the install and I was even more impressed with how they cared for the items they removed and left for me. Finance also did a good job with not selling the extras any harder than they should, changing the loan duration on my request and finding me a lower rate after the adjustment (without me asking), and being very organized and fast. I went to Chesrown on advice from a co-worker who purchased there and I will extend the same advice to anyone who is car shopping. I wanted to buy local and Chesrown did a good job from start to finish. The little things were done right and I hope that continues.

We purchased a pre-owned vehicle this weekend after a lengthy search to find the right car for me. I've had the same car for the last ten years, so it was important to find something that would last for another 10+! I typically HATE going to dealerships -- I get so sick of the games and power-plays, the last-minute "deals" when you're about to walk; I just want to buy a great car at a good price and be treated fairly. I'm so happy that we found Chesrown! Tom was friendly without being fake, helpful without being ingratiating, and explained everything without being condescending. He worked with us to give a great deal on a beautiful car, and we had an awesome experience that made me rethink my attitudes towards dealerships. We will definitely be returning! Ed Sheldon in the finance department was wonderful as well -- he helped us get through all of the paperwork patiently, with clear explanations, and without much fuss at all. Both gentlemen were there late going the extra mile to help us -- Tom even put my alumni license plate on the new car for me (in the dark, two hours after the business had closed). I'd highly recommend Chesrown to anyone! In regards to the last review...I've called the dealership twice since purchasing my car -- once to recover a lost item from my trade-in, and once to schedule service for my alignment. Once, I spoke with the operator, who was very friendly and wanted to make sure my service was taken care of at no charge (under the warranty), and connected me to the right place immediately, where the service team picked up and was very friendly. The second time, I left a message for Tom -- he called me back within an hour to help. We've not had any challenges with communication.

The Staff at Chesrown Chevrolet Buick GMC is second to none. My Salesman Dave along with Sales Managers John and Benji, immediately greeted me upon arrival at the dealership. They were very friendly and offered help in every way. Dave had already parked the two different vehicle models, equipped with the features I desired, around the front of the building to prepare for our appointment. He stood in the pouring rain and took the time to walk through every feature of both vehicles, thoroughly explaining the functionality and benefits of each car before offering the test drive. Dave did a great job instilling confidence in not only quality of the brand but my decision on purchasing the vehicle. After test driving both vehicles I decided to buy the Chevrolet Traverse and proceeded inside to start the paperwork. At this point I started to feel nervous. Based on the sticker price and the lack of rebates available on the vehicle. I didn't know if the monthly payments would be within my budget. My fears became validated after running the numbers and working different scenarios. The payments were too high and I couldn't afford to buy that car. Instead of turning me away and letting me just walk out the door, the team at Chesrown went to work. They went through their entire inventory looking at different models and trim levels to get my monthly payments down. Within minutes the sales team found another Traverse with most of the options as the first one I test drove. That's when one of the owners (Ryan Gill) approached me and said “Thank you for your time and patience. We will do whatever it takes to get you in this car today, and I want to welcome you as new member of the Chesrown family". Shortly after the other Owner (Jim Gill) also thanked me for my business, and said "Congratulations on your new car. You chose a great vehicle and I guarantee you will love it". I was blown away! I’ve never dealt with a company who values their customers as family, and not just a number or sale. Chesrown goes to great lengths to build trust, rapport, and relationships with their customers. The staff is knowledgeable, highly trained, and work as a cohesive team to get the deal done. The owners have one on one interactions with customers and involved themselves in the sales process. They graciously thank customers for their consideration, and the opportunity to do business with their establishment. Chesrown broke the mold when they built this dealership and I will be a customer for life.

I normally hate car shopping and have been stressing about going because you always get a pushy salesperson that tries to put you in a vehicle you don't want and then tries to tell you that purchasing a vehicle is a good investment.... let's be real here, no car is a good investment. A couple guys I work with mentioned going to Chesrown in Delaware so I decided to check them out. I love the fact that they offer free oil changes and tire rotations, and the selection of vehicles was great. I found the perfect car for me and drove off the lot the same day with it. My sales guy, Shayne, was friendly, down to earth, and easy to talk to. He kept us laughing through the process and kept us updated on things (paperwork, etc.). I've had my car a week and so far no issues. I would definitely go back to Chesrown and recommend Shayne and Chesrown to anyone I come across.

Robert Peterson went above and beyond to help us figure out what would be the best vehicle for our family. We loved the friendly sales team that offered a low pressure and helpful sales atmosphere. We would definitely recommend Robert Peterson and Chesrown.
