This facility uses a one-size fits all approach.  My mother was admitted and denied to perform the rehab.  So per medicare "rules" they wanted her out due to refusal on her part.  No custom approach to work with her in her room on a more private basis.  Most patients in a facility like this are not very mobile to begin with.  Why bother even going there in the first place.  The physician who supervises the care is a guy who performs cosmetic facial augmentations, go figure that one out.  Perhaps they ought to consider hiring a real rehabilitation physician.  In three days at my home, i have my mother walking around again using her rollator.  Going to the bathroom with no assistance.  Something they could not do in ten days.

NEVER IN MY LIFE have I heard of a facility treating their employees so terrible! You hire gay people left and right but you people make it okay for the others to bully and degrade them. Some of yall need some act right and better home training cause you won't get anywhere acting a damn fool the way some yall employees do!

My Dad was there approx 3 weeks. He was transferred from the Baptist Hosp. My stepmother was also transferred there. Dad has advanced dementia.My dad had fallen and she tried to catch him. On their first day there they had visitors from church and two relatives. They were there when they were served lunch. That evening my stepmother put my Dads dentures in a starfoam cup with some water. The next morning the cup was gone.Long story made short...they never found hid dentures. I, the son, contacted the case worker, Sophia. She referred me to so called quality management Ms. Clements. She said she investigated it and she told me he never had dentures. I told her I have witnesses and she still said it was never documented that he even had dentures. They are responsible and refuse to do the right thing....my dad is home now. Has home since 29 September....he has no teeth to eat..his new dentures will cost up to $500.00. This place is absolutely pathetic not to take responsibility and help my dad get new dentures. I'm considering litigation

My roommate had a stroke about 3 weeks ago and has been here since she was released from the hospital. She has received EXCELLENT care! I am so grateful to all of the staff: the techs who always came in with a cheerful attitude to help her, the nurses who were quick to respond with her medication when needed, ALL of the  knowledgeable therapists who worked with her and encouraged her to work hard so she could improve her function and be ready for home, and the doctors who took charge of her care. Also, her case manager who was very accessible and open to listen to any and all concerns she had about her care. No one likes to be in a hospital at all, not to mention several weeks, but they all helped her take it in stride for the most part. She will be going home soon, and cannot wait. But if not for the team here, it would've been a much harder battle. Thank you.
