This is, in my opinion, the nicest, most upscale eating dining sleeping swimming working out etc in Logan county!! Beautiful views from all rooms and restaurant. There is a road connecting chief Logan state park where all kinds of wonders are waiting. Feed deer from your hand, fish for bass, or trout. This hotel really has it all!!

The facility is very nice and the employees are too but it ends there.  I took my wife and four of her sisters there for dinner before visiting the fantastic light display at Chief Logan State Park.  I was ashamed for the waiter and angry at the restaurant management.  He took our orders and it was down hill after that.  Corn was the only vegetable being offered so was were ok with corn but then he came back and said they didn't have any and we would have to eat mixed vegetables.  This wasn't near closing time, in fact it was very early in the evening.  Then he brought the rolls.  They were very tasty until the third bite and it was frozen.  The second batch was even colder.  When it was time for the entrees he told us there was only three baked potatoes so we had to settle for half a baked potato and one of us  could get mashed potatoes. Salads were good and fresh. Steaks were delicious but were mixed up on how well done they were. We traded among ourselves to get the right ones.  Very memorable evening but for the wrong reasons.

Chief Logan Lodge is excellent in every way. I've stayed here twice in 2017 with my husband and 3 children to visit family and for a funeral. The staff is very friendly, really just amazing, especially the chef and kitchen staff. We arrived late one evening just 10 minutes before the hotel restaurant was going to close and our family party of 7 was able to get a full dinner to go with no problem. The chef herself came out to get our order and treated us like royalty. She even included a few extra items free of charge. It's good to know if you stay for a funeral they give you a special rate. The service is very similar to that at Disney World, top notch. Beautiful facilities, pool, fireplace, workout room, fire pits, playground. Love it!

Have been staying at Chief Logan Lodge for many years. It's beautiful, clean, comfortable and quiet.  Now they have a new scenic road connecting them to the park. Excellent place to stay! Highly recommended. One of Logan's best kept secrets!

One of the best hotels I have ever been to. Always very clean and the staff is always friendly and very welcoming. They offer so much for the price a nice pool hot tub and the outdoor area is awesome with the fire place and swings. LOVE IT !
