The hotel was nice enough and the staff was friendly. However, there were two incidents during stay. First of all, we paid for a premium room, but did not receive the amenities included. This was minor. More significantly, they had no usable water. We couldn't drink the water, wash our hands, brush our teeth, or shower. To be fair, they did tell us before checking in and allow us to cancel our reservation with no penalty. However, we got in after 11 PM, so we couldn't find another affordable hotel that allowed pets. They did offer us bottled water for free. It was still very inconvenient and we feel that we should've been contacted by the hotel ahead of time so we could've made alternative plans or been offered a discount on the room rate.

I was just passing through and decided to stay here as I stayed here years before. The front desk staff was polite and courteous. The room was very clean and the furniture was modern. Seemed recently updated. I loved the faux hardwood floors with wide planks. 32" flat screen TV with DirecTV. Bed was comfortable and plenty of outlets throughout the room. The only issue I had was that there was no continental breakfast. They only offered hot coffee in the lobby. There was a fridge and microwave in the room. Overall, the room was very comfortable.

I've stayed in this hotel approximately 5 times over the past 2 years. It is a convenient stopping point for me when I'm crossing West Virginia, and their pet friendly policy initially attracted me to them. Unfortunately, I think every visit has been worse than the last, and I may be finished with this location all together. I feel the hotel upkeep has noticeably decreased, and my comfort in staying has decreased as well. As I type this I am laying in bed in my room, unable to sleep due to the various noises from the heating system. I also learned when checking in that the entire hotel is without potable water... So no shower, drinking water, or other contact with the water is advised. It makes me wonder how the room could have been cleaned. I rated the hotel a 2. It's not the worst hotel I've stayed in, most nights... This particular visit would be a 1.

They've renovated the hotel, and front desk people are very friendly. Maid service depends on where your room is, i.e. who makes up the room. If you stay more than one night, some of the maids will not service your room. Not unusual to have to go to the front desk to ask for soap, shampoo, and once even towels upon checking in. Comfortable beds, dog friendly, rooms are clean.

This hotel doesn’t have the rooms that are booked, lied and said we didn’t book it until proof was shown. The rooms are FILTHY. Staff is rude. Spend the extra money and stay at one of the hotels down the street.
