Stay away from this location. Had to throw away entire order as the guac was completely rancid. Smelled and tasted abhorrent. 3rd time it has happened at this location. I'm done with Woodhaven.
I experienced the WORST customer service of my life today. I placed a mobile order for pick up & it said it would be ready at 1:20. I got there around 1:30 & the door was locked. There were 3 other customers waiting outside of the door. There were about 4 workers inside cooking but NO ONE acknowledged us or told us what was going on. They made us wait outside in the cold with no explanation. We were knocking & trying to call them but no one was answering, for about 25 minutes. I only waited because I had already paid for my food. Finally after 30 minutes of waiting and being completely ignored outside, we got through to them on the phone. They basically told us that they were trying to open & couldn’t step away because they had to hurry and open. I’m sorry but they could have & should have stepped away to give us an update. It would have taken 2 minutes. They told us they weren’t supposed to get online orders today and that we weren’t going to get our food. They said they would refund us and basically to go home. No apology, no discount or free food next time offered, nothing. I was and still am so livid!! There wasn’t even a sign on the door. I can understand being short staffed and that things happen. I just cannot believe they ignored their customers that were waiting outside in the cold. I won’t be going back to this Chipotle location after how I was treated today.
I placed an order for lunch for work went to pick it up. They did not state they were out of ingredients that I had requested to be put on my food. When I got back to work an my coworker an I opened our food we noticed we were missing topping an wrong sauce was put on my food. I then had to take my food back up there just be greeted by workers who seemed like they didn't even want to be there. They did remake my tacos which I'm grateful for but still didn't have the toppings that I wanted. Heads up next time would be nice!
Food was decent as to be expected. There was not 1 clean table. 5 employees, 2:30pm, I cleaned a space for my family. No more then a few people in line during the 35 minutes that I was seated and no employees came out to clean. Cheese and napkins all over tabletops, tons of food on the floor throughout the entire place. Trash was full and almost spilling out. Windows covered in fingerprints and dirt. Very disappointed due to filth.
Went in there to get lunch a couple days ago, it was very good which wasn’t the issue. I go to pay & tap my card, a couple seconds go by a receipt comes out & the cashier says it didn’t go through. I check my account on my phone & it clearly took the money out. He brings over sara which was the girl in charge I assume, she proceeds to tell me it didn’t go through where going to have you try it again & I promise it won’t charge you so I do it again & it goes through. The only issue is it charged me twice!!! I even told the both of them are you sure it won’t charge me again because I don’t want money to be taken out twice.I gave it a couple days because I know sometimes stuff is pending, but as I expected they charged me twice. It was clear they both didn’t know what the hell was going on or was not trained right definitely won’t be coming back!!
I LOVE chipotle, and I’ve gone to this location for years since I’ve worked nearby. However this chipotle location is one of the worst I have ever been to. The staff here just boggles the mind, it’ll be 2 in the afternoon and the front door will be locked with the side door open and they’ll say they are taking online orders with no sign on the door and with no indication as to why there are with multiple employees sitting around on their phones. This happens CONSTANTLY, maybe I don’t want to place an order I work 2 minutes away I just want to come in and get my food that takes literally 30 seconds to make. But today was the last straw 01/28/2023 I went in at 11:15 a HALF HOUR after they had opened and literally no food was prepared no one was being served. The lobby was just full of people sitting around waiting to be servedat least 7 people and no one had been served up to that point. I just walked out. I don’t even know how a staff could be this incompetent, management has GOT to be changed they run this location horribly.
I've been an avid Chipotle fan for years. I remember when the first one downriver opened on top of the hill in Allen Park. I would get my dinner there after work before heading to my second job on average 1 to 3 times a week. I even became friends with some of the staff and especially the manager there at that time, and everything was always fresh and perfect. When one opened up in Woodhaven, I was excited to have Chipotle so close to home! Being at Allen and West, I can understand if they sometimes run out of certain things - It's a busy area. But time and time again I've had problems with my favorite thing about Chipotle - their chips. When made correctly, they're my favorite tortilla chip from any Mexican style restaurant. I use them as edible spoons to eat my bowl! More than half the time when I order chips from the Woodhaven location, they have absolutely zero salt or anything at all. This last time, either the oil in the fryers wasn't hot enough or they put far too many tortillas in the fryer. Roughly half of the chips were completely soggy and oily, which makes them gross. About 10 chips were good and the rest were partially soggy. I understand it's a Friday night at 9:30 and you might have had to make some for the dinner rush or something, but I'm too big of a fan of this restaurant to not say anything anymore.. Please get things together Chipotle Woodhaven... Simple ingredients, prepared well make for 5 star reviews, and I'd love to make this one a 5 star review if things get better in the future.
I normally don't eat at Chipotle because I'm not a follower but somebody gave me a card for Christmas. I was gonna come to this one but after reading the reviews this might be the worst reviews I've ever seen for any restaurant.... I'll use my card somewhere else....
Food was cold, guaco was more brown than green. Other locations are way better. Still love chipotle tho
Ordered a steak bowl, kid acted like he was putting meat on I did not notice he put less than 4oz of chicken instead. I have no meat, as a dad of 3 who's got 33 bucks till next Wed now 23 I'm very sad I bought food here today. I don't eat much so if I get to refeed I really need my protiens and red meats. Thanks for shafting Daddyio today kid. Thanks a bunch.
