Awesome place if you want a getaway. My husband and I and a friend stayed here in a 1-bedroom cabin with a loft. Cabin was well equipped and very clean. Excellent view. Cabin literally sits within 5 feet to Dolores River. Very friendly staff! Great hunting nearby.

Terrible experience. Cheated us out of paid for guides, cheated us out of paid for horses. Owner has several small claim courts cases against him for owing payment to guides, as well as other people. Christian people don't treat people this way. People who have to boast their religion, usually aren't worth their words.  Food was good. That's it. Customers beware.  Will never return. I saved for a whole year to pay for this trip, not to mention traveled 1800 mi for this trip. Wish someone would have wrote this review for us who spent over $15k for this experience.

This is a great spot in between Telluride and Mesa Verde. They even have some great nature to do light hikes. Staff is very friendly as well.

Amazing setting, really nice staff. Next to a beautiful river. Fishing, camping and more. The cabin was pretty nice as well.

I made my first trip here in 1996 and unfortunately missed a big bull elk on a bow hunt.  Since then I have taken several nice bulls and a cow with archery and muzzleloading equipment.  Al Cannon and his family have always taken great care of me on my hunts and provide a great family atmosphere.  The food is always good and if you come in late, it will be waiting on you.  I have killed some elk in areas that you could not get a horse to and they walked in and packed them out piece by piece. 

Due to my wife's cancer I won't be able to go this year, but Al Cannon called to check on her and let us know we would be in their prayers.  Soon as we are able I will be back at the Circle K.

I was able to return in 2015 following my wife's death and I was again treated like family in every respect.  I was able to take another nice bull with my bow and a great group of packers went in and brought it out piece by piece.  That makes number eight, seven of which I took at the Circle K. I'll be back, Lord willing, for a muzzleloader hunt this year.
