We've been here a few times now and will definitely continue coming back. I almost don't want to leave a review because I don't want other people to find this place and price it out! Inexpensive, comfy, idyllic. Nestled at the foot of Mount Elbert. I always feel like it's a little home away from home. We usually stay in Cinnamon Bear since it's new and a good size for just the two of us. Perfect in any season, and make sure you go out at night for smores making in summer or star gazing in winter - the most stars you'll see in the sky anywhere else in Colorado! Just a perfect spot.

What an amazing place run by amazing people! On top of the world and filled with nature’s beauty, come and experience what it feels like to be treated like family! The couple who owns this place are so inviting and genuine, you can tell they truly care about people and just want you to have the best experience of your life. Would recommend this to anyone!!

Very fun, easy and cozy! Nice breakfast too.
Excited to stay here again soon.

Edit: Stayed at the Elk Cabin for our honeymoon in Sept 2015 and it was perfect. Mid-September - and the trees were yellow and orange, great hikes, stars, fun to use the firepit!

Edit: Stayed again recently in Sept 2017 at the Cinnamon Bear duplex cabin, and got to meet the new owners! They were very happy and so nice; still one of my favorite places to be.

I love staying here! I've been multiple times in my childhood, and finally came back as an adult. The views are incredible, the lodges are on a river, and there's plenty of hiking options!

Absolutely loved the Bed & Breakfast rooms! La Plata & Mount Massive rooms both have jacuzzi bathtubs. I was sad to leave, looking forward to a cabin stay in the future! A beautiful creek runs beside it, & there is an outdoor jacuzzi with gorgeous views. I would stay here again & again, enchanting place, wonderful people!
