Attentive bar staff, seems like a caring small-business type of tavern. Manager/owner was clearly present and helping where she could. Not super busy, definitely worth it for a quick drink or dine in as opposed to an overly busy place with a name and a long wait.

Disgusting. We ordered the fish and chips for my three year old daughter and when they brought it to our table we noticed a small white worm on the food. Never again. I have never had the experience of finding live worms in my food. I cant imagine how poor the food handling is there that something like this gets passed them. Stay Away.

Service was slow... Tables dirty. We went at 3pm and the place was more than half empty and still tables were not bussed and left dirty.

When we realized there was a worm in our daughter's plate and could not find our waiter I took the plate to the bar to complain to the only person we could find which was the bartender and I got a load of attitude from him. He complained to me saying, "what do you want me to do about it, complain to your server." Even if he was technically right I think he mishandled it given the situation. Of course they cleared the check and didnt charge us but when you find worms in your kids food that is the least thing you expect.  Oh and by the way, we sat for countless minutes waiting for anyone  at all to come to our table to address the work in the food. My daughter and wife grossed out the whole time.

Comfortable Irish pub style place.
Good tap beer selection.
Decent place to watch sports, lots of tv's in bar area.

Not very clean. Had to ask waiter to clean the table. We ordered a steak pot pie came as a chicken. Waiters changed and didn't bring the other pie we ordered, Nor did they address that the order was wrong.  Good location. Short wait. Food was good.
