The hotel is amazing. We were there on Sunday, so it was okay for the bar not to be open early. However Charles from sales came to the water park and open the bar for us. He worked non-stop until the water park was closed. Great hospitality. Also our party host Messiah was awesome. Whenever we needed something she was there to help. And my favorite of all was the front desk clerk for the water park. Diamond. She had everything ready and in order the whole time. There was no question she couldn't answer or a problem she couldn't solve. Great birthday overall and the kids loved it.

Very fun place for the kids. Does have a snack bar and bar. Nice locker room and lockers available. Only complaint was snack bar didn't open until 11:30 (supposed to open at 11) while the the facility actually opened at 10. So we were really thirsty by the time the snack bar opened. Combo prices on food was good (4 of us ate for $28), but individually priced food was kinda high.

I had a yearly pass to Coco Key, went today and was informed that they got rid of the 'Palm Grotto' which was the adults-only hot tub / spa. He said they took it out to expand some water slides. Which is great for the kids but the only reason I went to Coco Key was to sit in the hot tub and drink margaritas. Very disappointed. Also they still have Palm Grotto listed on their website (under 'Activities and Slides') so just a heads up, it's gone. To me the water at the lazy river, water slides, etc is very cold. You will need to bring your own towels if you just have a day pass (not staying at the hotel). The place is noisy and usually packed with kids. If you take kids they will probably have a good time, most of the kids there are age 5-12. Older tweens/teenagers will probably be bored.

I will NEVER spend money to stay at Adams Mark Hotel again! Upon arrival, the staff could not locate my reservation and my kids had to wait in our car for over an hour until a manager was finally able to look at my email with my confirmation info. Hotel staff and management were incredibly unprofessional. Once in the room, it was extremely hot and the heater would not turn off. I called guest services and they were only willing to provide a fan. I finally sat down and was planning to watch a movie with my children, but the T.V was broken. We decided to use our laptop, but the hotel WiFi would not work. The hallway smelled like someone had just finished smoking marijuana and the room had clearly been smoked in multiple times. We decided to just sleep and leave early in the morning only to find my credit card had been charged for an extra $200 despite me paying for our reservation three days prior to our stay. When I approached the front desk attendant in regards to the additional charges (outside of deposit) she called another staff member over and began whispering to him. If I could give 0 stars I most definately would. In my 33 years of traveling, I have never experienced anything like this. A manager was supposed to call me back in regards to the stay, but still has not. My refund is expected to be back in my account in 3-5 business days. I could not be more thankful to be home. IT IS WORTH THE EXTRA $100 TO STAY AT GREAT WOLF LODGE! TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!

The water was cold and the hot tub was out of service. It made the experience less fun than it could have been.
