This was from a while ago, but I went here for problems with my heart (bad palpitations), and they ran ONE EKG and looked at me like I was a liar. They took hours to get me seen. My fiance lost his job un-negotiably because he had to wait with me for so long that it rolled over into his shift at work. Upon trying to do blood work, they had to come back for sample sets THREE times, and that was AFTER finally getting a successful drawing on my wrist. Every place that they took blood from developed into a bruise about a foot long. I left looking like an absolute druggie. They sent me away with anxiety medication and told me to just go to primary care, instantly blaming this on my untreated thyroid problems I had in the past which I very recently found out are DORMANT, and have been for YEARS. I'm never going here again if I can help it. I recently went to South Western Medical Center for similar symptoms again, and they treated me far better than this hospital ever has. About the most I can say is that a couple of the nurses were friendly, but they're also the ones that tore my veins up trying to get blood. :( I want to believe in this place, but don't let the fancy layout fool you into thinking this is top-quality. Perhaps not all of the service is this horrible, but every time I've ever been here, I've walked away hopeless.

Heather Love who is suppose to be on your side really is on the side of the drs. She can't take any ownership in what she does. Because of her I'll never go to any part of there substandard hospital. I don't want to be seen there by any staff. And I will never make the mistake to make a complaint because she used it against me. She can't even return a phone call maybe she's lazy

Out Patient Admitting was amazing at checking my family member in today. We were in and out in less than 5 minutes. The staff was very helpful and nice. Thank you!

Waiting time will kill you. I just moved here from ft worth, tx. & i end up frequenting Er's because i have an Arachnoid Cyst in my brain that causes intracranial pressure & uncontrolled epilepsy as a result until i do surgery. They treat me FOR MIGRAINES. I do NOT have those, i have something else. I wait 3+ hours to get seen, then NEVER see a doctor. I wait that long to be seen by an APRN. She acts like she's listening, then treats me like a drug-seeker noting that she has no ability to prescribe narcotic medication that she says i need as their treatments would not help. Okay...THEN GET ME AN ACTUAL DOCTOR. She gives me a laugh at that "terrific joke" i just told her. Then she sends me away with a migraine med called Fioricet. Btw, if you "can't prescribe narcotic medication" then how did you get me this? Also, she ordered me one Tylenol3. I told her I've had those before, i have adverse reactions to it(terrible stomach pain & bloating, swelling feet, & headache). She tells me to take it with food. I tell her i didn't have any food on me. She tells me again, to just take it with food, then leaves....i literally wait 3 more hours with my fiancé, just to have a new nurse come in that i haven't seen before come in & discharge me. I ask about the pain pill she wanted to give me (at that point, i was tired & my head was hurting so bad, I'd take anything) she says she'll go check on that. Resume ANOTHER 45 minutes later -after I'd already been discharged & the doctor's supposed to watch you for adverse effects- the new nurse comes in, hands me the pill, i pop it, she escorts me out. I stay up ALL NIGHT, have a round of seizures, belly pain, headache & vomiting. I should've just stayed home! :'( Update:: 09/13/17 Wait took TWO HOURS for the same thing as above. 15 people went ahead of me, & 6 were 'hearded' with me. Get told the same thing that i have fluid completely filling my ears & I was put in fast track AGAIN. Get to see the SAME APRN as before. She leaves saying she is going to AN ACTUAL DOCTOR to sign off on a hydrocodone pill for pain treatment. She comes back, sans pain relief, 3 FRICKIN HOURS LATER & surprise, she asks me about muscle relaxers. I HAVE PRESCRIPTION MUSCLE RELAXERS AT HOME. Once again, she's perplexed. She says she doesn't know what to do. How about what you said you were gonna do 3 hours earlier?! I'm so mad & depressed. I'm trying to live here. I have 2 nine year olds, one's my sisters. I'm unemployable because of my cyst. Try a real doctor...i don't know what to do. 3 days without sleep because of this & my doctor is out of town. What do i do? I'm hurting in my head ALL THE TIME....

My problem started 3 months ago in the ER. I found the ER staff to be thorough, efficient and concerned. After being admitted, I was impressed with the level of care I received from the staff. Most recently after a series of scans and MRI, I had an out-patient procedure performed and again found everyone to be friendly, helpful and caring. I highly recommend CCMH.
