I just had a knee replacement here in early December. The staff, nurses, and doctors were very friendly and quick to address our needs. Surgery is never a fun experience and I have had several, but this was a good experience. I would not be afraid to go back, or recommend OCOM and Southwest Ortho to someone needing knee replacement.

The surgical and hospital staff are great and very caring about their patients and job. The business office however is very difficult to work with. We have wonderful Federal insurance but they want their charges paid up front and if you pay too much it will take months to get it back! Makes it hard to work with in these trying economic times!

Very snooty, upiddy nurses..after no water/food for 12 hours, after surgery had no food for me..after pointing this possible oversight, they did provide 2 pieces of bread with on piece of meat inside and a smalk bag of chips..wow..

I wasn't seen until an hour and 15 minutes past my appointment time. I had to schedule the appointment weeks out but they can apparently take as much time as they'd like. Then, when I was seen (for an improperly healed wrist post-fracture) the PA who saw me didn't ask me any questions or touch my wrist at all. He said he had looked at the x-ray, and doesn't want to try to fix the improperly healed bone even though the pain from it is impossible to live with. He scheduled me for an MRI and left within 4 minutes of arriving. Do you business elsewhere, or face the consequences.

These people can't even read the Dr's orders. I was scheduled for an MRA and they got me set up for an MRI. I had to tell them it was the wrong test. Before I left I was suppose to have a CD to give to my Dr. They didn't give me the CD, so I had to come back by and get the CD. I called there office and ask them for my CD. They then told me it would be 10 mins. Now 45 mins later I'm waiting for my CD. If you have a choice of place to go for an MRI go somewhere else.
