Great clean hotel - close easy drive to Cleveland, yet far enough away to feel out of the big city. Felt very safe there. No issues - the room was comfortable and clean. Close to restaurants and a National Park with great biking. Very good rate for near a large city. Easy drive to all three sports venues and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I've stayed there before and will again - so I recommend this hotel.

For those of you coming to Cleveland Clinic ,I have found a gem but not in the rough! Comfort Inn right outside the city of Cleveland about 14 miles in the town of Independence was perfect. First, the hotel rate was at minimum one third of the ones in the inner city of Cleveland. With Rush hour traffic it only took about 38 minutes to get to the clinic. Comfort Inn at Independence was pretty and tranquil located on a hilltop. The pool which sits beautifully outside the lobby overlooks a large area. The lemon water really added that extra needed spa like touch for me. The coffee, tea and lemon water are located in the lobby 24-7 and I Loved that extra feature. The rooms were modern and clean with luxurious towels, not the thin barely cover you types. The beds were adorned with several cozy pillows. I am thrilled I found this little gem after staying in several Cleveland inner city hotels that were minimum at best with ridiculous price tags that DO NOT match what you are offered. I am truly a happy camper now.

We had a mixed, imperfect three nights (July 1-4, 2017). The room was tasteful, the bed comfortable although it should have been placed away from the heat/air unit. Housekeeping did not re-make the bed the entire stay. Towels and washcloths were soft, absorbent and pleasurable to use. But the bathroom lacked towel racks to hang used towels and washcloths (the hotel said it would change these items every three days, unless the guest advised the front desk otherwise). We did, and they were changed, but this must be done each day.

No issues at all. Nice and friendly staff. Pool was nice. Descent breakfast. Clean room. Would stay here again.

I was booked a room here for a business type event by a company, so I didn't pay for the actual stay. I perceived this hotel to be one of the lower end hotels in the area before my visit. I am very pleasantly surprised by my stay. Every day I came back to a freshened room, and the appearance overall is very clean. Both the hotel and the room itself. I also though the amenities were perfect for what was provided. The staff is also very friendly.
