Great sales guy's, but the company completely messed up the tag for my car. I called the rude woman in charge of tags three times during the last two weeks before my temp tag expired and she still failed to deliver. In the end I had to cancel my weekend plans to go and pick up the tag the day the temp tag expired. Very poor customer service. Prime example on how to change a five star review to a one star.

The reason why I'm writing this post is because my wife is a member of numerous "mom groups" on facebook and members were complaining about commuter cars and after looking at their positive Google reviews I had to tell the truth about them. I'm pretty sure all the positive reviews are fake. Horrible experience, don't buy from these people. First check them out on BBB. My pregnant wife and I went to buy a truck for a family vehicle from them. We found a nice Nissan frontier it looked clean and during the test drive the truck idled a bit rough and Austin said it was normal. We got back to the office and paid in full for the truck, also trading in my Honda Civic. Less than a week later after coming home from work I pulled into my driveway and when I exited the truck I heard a bubbling noise then a pop and yellow liquid came pouring out from under the front end. I called my mobile mechanic who came out and looked at the truck. He stated the head gasket was blown and after testing the engine said the #6 cylinder was bad. He also took a sample of the liquid and had the sample tested. In the meantime we contacted Austin at Commuter Cars and explained what happened, he told us to have thr truck towed to their shop up near ft pierce.After their "mechanic" inspected the truck he said the head gasket was fine and the radiator and hoses had to be changed. He charged us $1200 to fix that and after leaving the shop the check engine light came on and the truck died. After 2 more attempts to fix the truck and 2 months of commuter cars having the truck they confirmed the head gasket had blown and said they could sell us another vehicle. After numerous "conversations" with the owner of the branch and several threats from their end, mainly saying that they could outlast us in court fees, they said they would give us $1500 toward another vehicle from them. Even though we paid $9500 for the truck plus the $1200 to fix something that wasnt the issue. They ended up giving us $7000 toward another vehicle but we lost the repair fees and $2500. We ended getting a GMC sierra that was 4 years older and had 40000 more miles on it plus was only a 2 door not 4 door like we needed for our family. So do not believe these posts about how amazing this dealership is. After reading the BBB report on commuter cars I know I'm not alone with how we got screwed over by them.

Austin and Steven not only look out, but took the time out of there personal time to go above and beyond and get me into this awesome 2008 Toyota Camry. If you not only want the best deal, but awesome customer service as well as knowledge and experience this is place to be at. Again thank you guys so much and hopefully this helps out the next person looking for that special car!!!!!!!!!

Always a pleasure to deal with the staff at the stuart office. They are understanding and will work any situation out with you as long as you communicate with them. Very satisfied with my vehicle bought from ft pierce location😀

Thank you commuter cars for helping me find the perfect car. I love it. Great Price! Super clean!! and Very Nice!!! Carlos was my salesman and i had an awesome experience . They treated me like family. Everybody go check them out and get on the road today with some new wheels.
