Story

We are a specialty retailer currently operating more than 90 retail locations in Arizona, Colorado, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas. We feature a wide range of products from home electronics, appliances and computers, to furniture, mattresses, and smartphones.

We sell home appliances, including refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, dishwashers and ranges, and a variety of consumer electronics, including LCD, LED, 4K, 3D and Ultra HD televisions, tablets, computers and computer accessories, Blu-ray and DVD players, and home theater products. We also sell furniture and mattresses, including furniture and related accessories for the living room, dining room and bedroom, as well as both traditional and specialty mattresses. We continue to introduce additional product categories for the home to help respond to our customers' product needs.

I bought a TV that died within a few months of purchase. They gave me the run around for a year by saying they would submit a claim, giving me the wrong phone numbers for manufacturer's warranties, etc. There was no clear policy as to how to make a claim for a repair. When I did get through to the manufacturer, they informed me that the serial number was for a unit requiring a warranty claim via the retailer. Not that this is unusual, but it doesn't work if the retailer sits on it. The store did finally go about letting me know at the one year anniversary point that they wouldn't do anything more to help with a warranty repair as the TV was now out of warranty. That was good way to ensure they lost my business.

Do not waste your money at this store. We learned the hard way. We have spent well over $10,000 cash at this store in the last six months furnishing our new home. We went in today just to buy four more chairs for our dining room set and they had gone up in price $20 per chair. Was there any customer service appreciation for good customer status, discount, price matching, etc??? NO. Also, we went ahead and ordered the four new chairs and then find out that there is a $150 fee for home delivery. We said no thank you, we will pick them up. Well, guess what we have to drive to Aurora from Loveland, CO (132 miles round trip) to pick them up. So, literally, they are trying to force you to pay for home delivery. They WOULD NOT let us pick them up in Fort Collins where we bought them. How do they get their floor models there?? I will NEVER do business with this store again. All they care about is making a buck. There is absolutely no customer service. I would much rather buy cheaper furniture at American Furniture Warehouse or more expensive furniture than to ever shop here again.

I will never buy from this company ever again. And will never recommend it to a anyone. They have a Customer Service department that is in a different country so you can't understand what the reps are saying.. If you are even 1 day late, they blow up your phone with several phone calls a day. Even calling your work place which is why i took that phone number off my account. I tried 4 times to get a payoff statement so i could pay them off once my house sells. Each time they sent me the incorrect information and even sent them to the wrong email address after i had the rep repeat it back to me. Dont waste your time or money on this place. Save up your money and buy elsewhere. It's not worth the hassle.

If you're into a high-pressure, high-interaction sales environment, this is your store. We prefer a more relaxed, hands-off approach...and we told this to the salesman who approached us when we came in. His response was to simply step back one aisle and watch us from a (short) distance. The awkward feeling very quickly caused us to walk out of the store.

Shopper beware, you will get ripped off here, and they will smile and lie to your face while doing it. I purchased a computer and they gave me the incorrect model, and they will not refund my restocking fee, even though the sale of the incorrect model is their error. Specifications for my desired computer were not fully displayed, so I requested confirmation that it was the same specifications as a model for sale by Best Buy, because the computer in the Conn's HomePlus store was not working for testing, and the sales associates offered no other way of verifying the specifications. The sales associates verified it was same specifications, before I made my purchase. Upon bringing the computer home and opening it, I discovered it was not the 2.8 GHz model they led me to believe it was, but instead a 1.6GHz model with half the speed of processor - Which Best Buy had on sale for half the price. They are hoping to dupe stupid consumers into buying the low-end model at the high-end price - because the only difference between the low-end and high-end was the processor speed, and conveniently that's the ONLY specification they left out of the printed display tag. They want customers to believe it was the same model for sale from best buy for the same price, but it is really half the computer for twice the price. The company then charged me a $225 restocking fee to return the incorrect computer to them, and after several complaints and calls, they refuse to refund my restocking fee, despite this being a clear cut case of bait-and-switch. BBB complaint just filed. Avoid at all costs! This company is the worst. Any positive reviews are either bought and paid for, or from very stupid customers who think they got a great deal but really got ripped off.
