Worst experience ever! Do not ever try to go here for anything. We called to ask if we can come in on Presidents' Day if they were open to get a new passport. They said yes gather the paperwork and come in. We arrive around noon and they send us to redo the passport pictures because they are colluding with a store down the street and thus our pictures were not done by "code". Several ladies both said that the only reason is to get the extra money. Once we redo our pictures we went upstairs and The lady Maria palithi said that we have to call over the phone to make an appointment to do this and brig the paperwork. We tried to explain we had all the paperwork on us and they told us to come in today. Maria was the rudest person I have ever talked to in customer relations. She stated again we had to call to make an appointment because she had a lot of stuff to talk over the phone with. We then asked if we can make an appointment now for sometime down the road and she continued to yell no and asked me to step out of her office. I was very excited to be a Greek citizen and be further connected to my culture, however after this experience I am nothing but embarrassed and ashamed. I hope one does something about this, it needs to change. Sad day for greeks everywhere.

If I could give this place 100 stars I would. Everyone here is very friendly, professional and helpful. I am here for a Schengen visa application and the whole process is very efficient. I also e-mailed for questions concerning the visa before my interview, and they responded in time.

Manos is a gem! I can't imagine how stressful it must be to work at the Consulate, but in my many visits there Manos was consistently professional, patient, helpful, and kind. I greatly appreciate his support during my visa application process!

The worst embassy ever! They care (if you can say so) only abt Greek people!!! They did lost my passport which they had to send via usps! Cuz I live in jersey, I even brought the envelope for them. After not receiving my passport (more then 4 weeks) I went there again they showed me a copy of envelope there wasn't sender addresse, it is the LAW that you should write both addressee and sender addresses?! They sent me to two usps offices, of course they do not have any info abt my envelop cuz it wasn't even registered! How embassy could be so careless, rude, and unresponsible????!!!!! By the way don't even try to call them, they never ever would reply to you! Now I have to deal with my unpleasant situation cuz of their stupid mistakes!!!
