Story

In addition to bicycle service, sales and rentals, we also have a full skateboard/scooter selection upstairs. Finally, big for 2016, we are opening a full fledged hockey shop upstairs as well.

Cottonwood Cyclery is an incredibly amazing place to get your Skateboard, gear and wheels! The owner, Allen and his entire staff member Jay and othes made us feel welcome and they have an incredible inventory to choose from. What a great place! We drove from Draper and are customers for life. Thank you Cottonwood Cyclery!
I own multiple Intense bikes and was given some free tune up certificates with them. Being one of the licensed Intense dealers in the area, I brought my bike down and was told it'd be about two weeks until they could work on it.I say no problem, showed them the certificate and went on my way. A whole month passes and I've heard nothing, so I call and am told I need to provide a code from Intense on the free tune up; the email said nothing so I contacted Intense directly and they were dumbfounded to what "code" was being referred to as well and suggested that maybe the shop wanted me to register the bike with warranty? I had already done that so I called the shop back and told them what I did and they now seemed to not need any sort of code or number and told me it'd be a few more weeks until the bike would be ready. So I wait a week and call and let them know it's been too long and I'm told by the owner to take the bike somewhere else if I can't wait and I explained it's been much longer than I was told for a simple tune up and haven't heard much of anything until I call. He yelled about how he wasn't in the mood for it and it'd be done now in a few days, so I agree to go along with it and wait 2 more days and grab the bike from the shop. It may have been because it was a "Intense" tune up that they didn't seem to care to prioritize it, but all I was looking for was honesty and some communication and was disappointed to have the interaction I did after seeing so many good reviews. I go to about 5-6 different bike shops on a regular basis in the area and will NOT be returning here, they have no inventory of anything, it's just a glorified workshop.
I came in looking for a spoke to use for hot waxing my chain. He found one for me around the shop. Also answered some questions I had related to road cycling in the area, was friendly and so helpful. Will definitely do business here in the future.
This shop seems legit. Been looking for a neighborhood bike shop since we moved to the area and I’ll definitely be back. Ran in to get my pedals swapped. Super easy and quick. Thanks!
Thank you. Nothing like going to a business that seems like home. Super helpful and genuine. I brought in my Specialized FSR full carbon full suspension MTB and they didn't gouge me based on what I ride. They got it done as fast as anyone should expect this time of year. I should have brought it in during the first part of the year. So be respectful and give them the proper time to fix your bike right.
They donated a tree to our maternity home for Christmas! It was lovely to work with them and we are so grateful for their generosity!
Came in here from out of town for an MTB rental. Unmatched customer service and Alan is the kind of guy that you want to do business with. I’ll be back next time I’m in town.
Awesome company, very friendly staff. I took my grandson with his bike here to Cottonwood Cyclery on two occasions. They turned out to be minor issues but we were treated kindly and respectfully. Both times they gladly fixed the problems immediately and we were not charged at all. Thank you for your kindness, we will certainly continue to due business with your shop.
The staff at Cottonwood Cyclery are generous with their time and expertise! We brought in a used bike that we had just purchased to have them fix what we thought was an issue with the rim. The staff checked it out, realized it was an easy fix, and returned our bike within 5 minutes. They didn't charge for the service.
They take the time to provide exceptional service even when they are crazy busy. Took my bike in and was expecting to pay a lot more than they charged me. They only fixed what was necessary, were super friendly, and gave me a great deal. I've had several positive experiences with them and this was just one more great experience. I'll definitely keep coming back!
