Great stay! We arrived at 9pm from Virginia and stayed here solely to rectify a passport issue the next day which is close to the hotel. When we arrived at 9pm, Edwin was there to provide us with a friendly greeting and a sympathetic ear as I shared with him our difficulty at the airport with my son's passport. The next day we were able to successfully rectify the issue with the passport and called down to reception to ask for an additional hour to check out as a courtesy as we were exhausted from the day prior. The help desk attendant, unhesitantly provided this request to us; which I super appreciated the fact that this hotel really value there customers and not just a profit! Will definitely stay here again!!!

Great location (right next to the Houston Street metro stop) and new-feeling, surprisingly spacious rooms. The surrounding area is pretty diverse and has lots of different options. I would definitely stay at this hotel again the next time I visit NYC.

Really great location a half block from the 1,2,3 train. You can get to the Newark airport in under thirty minutes ( more if there is traffic). There are a couple of starbucks, pharmacys, and great restaurants with in a couple of blocks. The staff was always nice and helped with recommendations. The rooms were small, but all rooms in NYC are small. The rooms were clean and the cleaning staff was great! The neighborhood quited down at night, but the subway could be heard, so if you are a really light sleeper dont get a street view room. The elevators were fast, and you didn't have to wait long like some other hotels. I would stay again.

An absolute gem of a hotel! A great find. Nice room, recently updated. Half-block to the subway. The friendliest staff I've ever experienced in NYC.

Really nice remodeled room. Super cheerful and attentive staff. Walking distance to many cool venues and restaurants
