I called this place last week. Checked to see if they had tent camping. Was told yes. Then just happened to see on their website that they did not. Called back & the lady this time confirmed that they did not allow tent campers. She informed me that this campgrounds basically thought that if a person slept in a tent that they were trouble makers. So actually this campgrounds considers, that if U slept in a tent last year, and purchased a trailer or motorhome. U have now become a better person. I was in the Marine Corps for 4 years. Slept on the ground for more then half that. Now I come back home to America, & am told that it depends what I own & that I choose to sleep in a tent while camping, that I am a trouble maker. I would think & hope that these campground owners & managers would grow a brain. So out in public, everyone will clap, and tap U on the shoulder & call U a hero if you're active military or a veteran. But privately you're told like I was, that you R not allowed to camp here, because you're a troublemaker because U own a tent. Other campground owners feel the same. Will call U a hero out in public in front of everyone, but in private act like you're not good enough if U don't own a $200,000 motorhome. Its just sad, & pathetic, that people fake their feelings out in public, but show their true feelings in private. I am good enough risking my life for my country. But not good enough to sleep at a campgrounds, because I cannot afford a trailer or motorhome. At least there R state parks to camp at. At least they seem to appreciate a veteran, or even an honest decent person , just wanting to camp for a few days in a tent. Unlike most private campground owners.
