When I first walked in we walked into a shop.  Like normal I admired from a distance.  Not one time checking a price of the pretties that lured me in. 😁 The setting of the restaurant is so cozy with an enormous fire place.  I liked the food, however my coffee experience left me kind unsatisfied.   When I eat breakfast it is with regular coffee.  This drink they served was as if they added hot water to a half empty pot.  I did like my eggs, and turkey sausage patties, and most of all the fluffy pancakes.  YUMMY.

We came at 8:45 p.m. on a Thursday night. Even at the late hour, we were encouraged to come in, sit down, order whatever we wanted and to take our time eating. The service was great! The food was delicious! We appreciate your kindness! Thank You!

Pretty much standard throughout, breakfasts and all are pretty much down home cooking comfort food. The shop seems to overwhelm at each visit,more and more product, with a down homey, home shopping ambience. Do yourself a favor, go to a thrift store, you'll see many if the same items, with a price 1 10/th of the bargain at Appalachia but not.

Great food! Very accommodating/accessible for my wheelchair/walker and my service dog. It is usually pretty easy to get a table out of the way if you ask specifically for that. Staff is very friendly! The fokd is always amazing and definitely comfort food. The fried apples and hash brown casserole are the best!!
