I would advise anyone filling new prescriptions to steer clear of this location. Initially, I approached the drop off counter (as anyone would do with a new prescription) and was told by the pharmacy tech guy already standing there that I’d be helped in a minute. No problem. Seconds later I was approached by who I am assuming is the lead pharmacist (a woman with short salt pepper hair wearing glasses with an obvious European accent of some kind) who asked to help me. I asked if she had in stock a particular medication made by a specific manufacturer and she immediately said no, and that she did not have anything from that manufacturer. She conveyed very clearly to me verbally and with body language that she did not want to help me. I proceeded to inform her that I was sent to this location by my home CVS after they had checked and confirmed in the system that this location had it. She responded with they should have called because the system will say anything that isn’t accurate. She then proceeded to turn and walk away while saying to me with her back facing me that she will check anyway but that what I am looking for isn’t here. She crouched down, cycled through some things down below the counter for a few seconds or so, looked up at me and said she didn’t have it. Not once did she search in their system to confirm whether it really was there or not. I then looked at the male tech who was present from the start, and said to him that she really needs to work on her customer service skills because it is lacking. I felt very disrespected by this person, and can assure you, that I will not be filling prescriptions here for as long as I live.

Pharmacy staff wouldn’t listen when I told them that what they had on file for my primary insurance was no longer primary. They kept demanding the bin numbers and group numbers from the old policy. I ended up spending an hour on the phone with them and my insurance to get it sorted. Even then they still wouldn’t change it over and were incredibly snobbish. They acted like know it alls. They didn’t want to listen to what I had to say at all, honestly save your breath and drive the extra three minutes to the hyvee pharmacy down the road. At least people there will listen when you speak.
