I had a great experience wit my vehicle purchase. Mike went out of his way to make this process as smooth as possible. He brought the truck up from the Ellsworth location so I could easily fit a viewing & tests drive into my schedule.  This was the most stress free vehicle purchase experience I’ve ever had. I would like to thank the crew at Darlings for their dedication to service after a sale. We've bought five vehicles from Darlings over the years (New and Pre-owned) and have had excellent service. Inspections, oil changes,  repairs and airbag recall were all painless. Before you buy, check with these guys and gals. Real Pros!

They went above and beyond to get me into my new truck. I went to several dealerships through out Maine and nobody could get me financed, they all pretty much laughed at me. When I saw the Ford F-150 platinum that they had for sale I called and told them my situation and I was interested. I filled out the online application and within two days I received a call back saying I was approved. My salesman was Alex and he was great. They told me they would hold the truck for me because I could not get up there till the weekend . When I arrived the truck was exactly what i was looking for and Andy in the finance dept. had all the paperwork ready to go. I had everything signed and was out the door within 2 hours. The truck was not ready for me to drive off the lot due to that they where still going through it to make sure everything was right on it. They offered to drive it down to me when it was ready. I was a little concerned about buying such an expensive used truck since the factory warranty on the truck was pretty much done. Darlings put all my concerns to rest when I called and told them there was a squeak in the front brakes and they said they would pick it up and give me a loaner and fix it. I had the truck less than a week and the water pump let go, this was not something they could have seen when doing there inspection, and they had me bring it to a ford dealer in my area to get fixed since darlings is 2 and a half hours away and the truck could not be driven that far. They have definitely earned my business and I will always buy  vehicles from Darlings. The long trip is worth it. They where great from the start of the process when I talked to Patty and she got all the information I wanted to getting me the financing and working with me to make it a great car buying experience. To know that they stand behind what they sell and actually keep there word on what they say is refreshing.I would strongly recommend Darlings to anyone buying a new vehicle. Even if you think you cant get financed give them a try, its worth it. I am so grateful for Darlings and all the wonderful people there that help me get into my new truck. Thank you

I was unsure about buying from a dealership. It was my first time, and I didn't know what I was getting myself into. Everyone at Darlings was super helpful, friendly, and professional. I first met with Brad Hurd, who helped me narrow down what vehicle I could afford. His honesty and knowledge helped me narrow my focus, so I was closer to finding the right car for me. Later, after using the Darlings website and finding a vehicle (2015 Dodge Journey) that I liked the looks of, I scheduled a test drive. Darlings responded by phone and email very quickly. I was in the dealership within a few days, where I met with Gary. Besides being pleasant and more than competent, his devotion to helping me get what I needed is what stands out in my mind. Four hours of answering my questions, showing me the vehicle, sorting out my finance options, and making sure I was properly insured. Andy King was super helpful, informative, and helped me understand what I was doing. His flexibility got  me into the vehicle I wanted without any headaches. I feel so lucky, and as corny as it sounds, I didn't know shopping for a car could actually be so darn enjoyable. Thanks Darlings, the car was beautifully detailed, and is driving great.
