This past experience with Darlings went very well. My sales rep, Joe, was great. He was there when we needed something but not pushy in any way. Answered our questions then gave us our space. There is nothing worse to me than a salesman trying to close a deal quickly. Amy was great with our financial questions as well. And Bob, well he was doing his job in the background which is to try to make the most on the sale. In the end our negations gave me almost the deal I was looking for when I walked in the door. I left feeling good about my purchase and that is what matters most.

Very nice people to deal with. Friendly, informative and fair. I would recommend to anyone looking for a vehicle to start their search here. Dustin is good at his job, easy to talk to and knows what he's doing. Amy was very helpful in explaining all the paperwork, getting financing, and helping with the process. Can't say enough good things about the whole experience.

As with most dealer service centers, Darling's can be a little pricey but I will say I've had good luck with my Honda dealer. They've been efficient and professional. I love my CRV and the service dept has taken good care of it, even though my warranty is long expired. I would recommend them whole heartedly.

As a mom of three little ones, I appreciated the consistent respect I received every time I walked into the used car center. I worked with Joe Doucette and Nick Spann, and both treated me very well. Thank you to both of you, and keep it up! I would absolutely recommend working with either of these salesmen. As far as the business end, I guess you could sum it up this way---these are used vehicles, and Darlings is reluctant to put more into their cars than the bare minimum to make them pass inspection. The van we bought had tire treads that were worn differently, a power sliding door that didn't work, and shabby detailing inside. I brought all of this to their attention, and they replaced two tires (on an AWD van). I complained again, and showed real interest in buying the car--then they replaced the remaining two. Darlings refused to repair the power sliding door (which did close manually). They suspected the motor had gone, and it was too expensive for them to fix. Fine--we get that there's a bottom line. BUT, someone had pushed a button to inactivate the power sliding doors altogether in the van--trying to hide that one door didn't work. In the end, we bought the van--otherwise it seemed sound, and we were willing to put up with the door. Here's the kicker, though--after we bought the van, I mentioned the power door that didn't work in passing to our mechanic (Eric Porier, Porier's Garage). He had inspected the van early on in the buying process. He said--'Funny, one of my technicians specifically made sure each power door worked when we inspected it'. My husband and I are left to conclude that something happened to the door while it was for sale at Darling's (the door motor actually works, but a cable is severed). It is very likely that after this happened, they inactivated the power door control and hoped no one would notice. Bottom line--the salespeople we worked with seemed genuine and very interested in making a sale, without being pushy or belittling. My strong sense is that the management puts the bottom line first, trying to invest as little as possible in the cars on the lot. So, if you want a fair deal, do your research--because they are happy to sell a car in any condition as long as it passes inspection.

Disappointed they do not have a body shop. Have to go to Augusta to get body work done by a Nissan Dealership.
