I went to look for a vehicle and after speaking with the salesperson, Mario who really listened to my needs and thoughtfully took the time to reassure me as I was quite emotional making my first big vehicle purchase.  Mario was patient and knowledgeable while answering all of my questions. When the manager, Ryan took my possible trade in that had lost its power steering for a drive and as  it was too late in the day to do the finance approval told me that he could not in good conscious let me drive my car home. Ryan encouraged me to take the new car home with a dealer plate something that meant so much to me. In the night someone slashed all 4 tires and smashed the windshield and called Mario on his cell phone on a Sunday Morning and he was so helpful and understanding. They fixed it with no cost to me and gave me a rental to use. Kristen in financing was so helpful and made the daunting task of paperwork painless. She answered all of my questions, explained things clearly and was very reassuring. Darlings has a customer for life because of Mario, Ryan and Kristen and when I recommend Darlings I will send them to Mario.

Giving it a 3 star because we felt ignored in the sales lobby. Will give a 4 star to our sales person though, very easy to work with.  At the time of this review we visited the temporary showroom across the street because they are remodeling their building.  Have dealt with Darling's in the past and was always treated good. Their service center is professional and smooth and they offer a courtesy shuttle at no charge so you can go shopping around Bangor while the service your vehicle.

I'm not even a customer....yet.  Was in the area yesterday and stopped in, I had a few questions about transmission issues in my 2011 ford fiesta due to recall parts. The service team was awesome. The guy we were talking to seemed genuinely concerned and did everything he could to help us. They made such an impression that we decided to go in the sales dept. and try to get into a car through them. The sales man that we dealt with was just as nice and caring. Even if we aren't able to get the van they are trying to get us into, I still recommend them, just such an awesome experience.

Saw a great deal on an audi a3 on thier website, as it turned out it was not on site when we went in, but Gary and Jack had another we could test drive.  Loved it!  The price was soon agreed on, and the paperwork signed,  They then put us in a loaner until the a3 was back on the lot.  Any concerns were taking care of. Kim in the service dept is second to none.  Highly recommended.

First Ryan, then Matt, and Kim -- what is there not to say about those amazing individuals.  Since I'm female, I particularly love working with Kim -- she makes sense out of my questions and explains complicated issues in a way I can understand.  She also knows my voice when I call -- before I even tell her!  Last time there, I had a new service writer, Jen.  I was a little surprised, because Kim is "my girl", but Jen is a confident woman who also knows a great deal about cars.  What I want to know is, where does Darling's GET all these terrific women who not only know and understand cars, but who are excellent communicators as well?!  Strong work, Darlings!
