I was at Dillard's sale on January 1. All departments were great, except the shoe department. I waited in line for 1 1/2 hours to just see if they had my shoes in stock in my size, it was so stupid and unorganized. Finally, I gave them my 6 shoe selections, it took 20 minutes to check, when the clerk came back she gave me 2 pairs and said the others were gone. Ok, so I went to try on the two pairs of shoes and neither were what I asked for nor was the sizes correct. I went back waited 20 more minutes to get another clerk, she took my list was gone 15 minutes, came back with 6 boxes and not one pair was correct or in my size. I got another clerk to go and look she game back 20 minutes later with 6 boxes, same problem not the right size and completely different shoes. I dropped the last 6 boxes on the floor and left three hours in line and totally incompetent salespeople in the shoe department. I'm so frustrated, wanted to purchase over $300. on shoes, left upset and frustrated!

The worst experience, will never come back, asked for women sizes 18 and up, she said that you need to go to the petite sizes. Really I'm not stupid and I am not short like her.

I bought a pair of nice $70 slacks and the hem came out after wearing them once. I took them back to exchange them and a very rude lady informed me that wasn't a sufficient reason to exchange the pants but they could send them to the tailor to get fixed... and it would only take 3 weeks. So I left my slacks with them and took my slip of paper saying they'd be done on the 6th. I am pretty sure the lady said they'd call when they were done. Anyways after 5 weeks of not hearing back from them I called in and asked if my pants were done. They told me I could come get them. When I went into the store, another less than pleasant employee asked me my name and asked if I was sure my pants were finished. I told him that they never called but I assumed they were since it was 2 weeks after the predicted pickup date. My favorite part... the sales associate said "Oh, we don't call people anymore. We just have way too many things coming back from the tailor to call everyone so it's your responsibility to come back in." I guess Dillards has gotten to the point that buying $70 slacks, a $250 suit or whatever else doesn't warrant good customer service...

A great place to go if you're fake. Seriously. I followed my daughter into this store and nearly everyone there, workers and customers, were either Posers, Wanna-Bes or Stuffy-Fluffies. The prices reflect this, everything is triple what it should cost. Maybe self-proclaimed 'socialites' go here to be seen by OTHER self-proclaimed 'socialites'?

The store was well organized, and the employees were so helpful! It seemed a few of them knew what I was looking for, even though I had no idea! They were also very helpful with my sickly mother. Best shopping experience I have had in a long time (and I worked retail for 20 years, so I don't say that often, lol)!
