My wife and I were recently traveling in our old car from Austin, TX to Columbia, MO for a wedding.  About an hour and a half into our trip we started noticing more road noise than normal and it was gradually getting worse.  We pulled into a Discount Tire in McKinney, TX and Chad checked our tires for any damage.  Based on my explanation of what was happening, he said he thought it could be a wheel bearing issue.  He recommended that we take the car to Discount Auto Care to assess what was wrong.  Elias and his team quickly helped us and put us at ease in our time of need.  Shortly after we arrived, he had one of his mechanics take the car on a test drive to pinpoint the issue.  The test drive confirmed that the problem was a worn out wheel bearing that needed to be replaced.  The mechanic told us that, in his opinion, we should be able to complete our trip with no issues other than listening to the extra noise.  Elias let us know he could fix it for us, but realized we were on a tight time schedule.  He did not charge us anything for this service.  Soon we were back on the road with the peace of mind that we knew what the problem was and we were safe to continue our trip.  Our auto shop will replace the wheel bearing next week.  If we lived near McKinney, I would take our car to Discount Auto Care for this repair.  Except for the worn out wheel bearing, our experience could not have been any better.  Thanks Elias!

You rarely find auto mechanics be frank with you about what needs to be done and what can wait.  This shop is different and I appreciate their honesty and budget saving suggestions.  This will be the place I take all my vehicles to for any type of services.  Easily a 5-star shop!

Always difficult to find a mechanic when moving to a new area. Given their rating on google and word of mouth I decided to trust these guys with my 10+yr old BMW. Not only did they get the job done perfectly, they updated me all the way through the process. Collins, one of the guys there was absolutely fantastic, I highly recommend this place!
