This restaurant is absolutely gorgeous. Very aesthetic, a very cool place to be. If you are looking for a cool place for a coffee date. 100% recommend. The breakfast sandwiches are amazing, but the sweet buns did not hit the mark for me. They are coated in a thick exterior and it was hard to eat both texturally and in taste. Also, I understand how counterintuitive it is to say that coffee & tea should be less hot but I do think you should not be actively burning yourself to have tea at an appropriate temperature. We ordered a tea and the lid was not completely put on and I ended up pouring hot tea all down the front of me and burning myself. I like this restaurant but I did hurt myself and I don't want other people to. So please be super super cautious with your cups.
I really loved the atmosphere in this quaint coffee house. Very comfortable and due to the holidays, very decorative. The prices for food, considering the portion sizes, was the only drawback. Kind of expensive. Pretty close to Starbucks prices but if you are looking to support local, private businesses, this is a good choice. Their parfait was pretty good too, especially if you want a healthy alternative.
I drive by this place every day and finally decided to stop. Wonderful atmosphere with very nice staff but let's get to the real story here...the coffee and buns. Both were exceptional! They brew a Commonplace Coffee, so you really can't go wrong there. I had the basic bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich and it was delicious. The bun was so light and fluffy and buttery. Will definitely be back for a visit. There are a lot of items on the menu I'll be tasting...both sweet and savory.
One of the best hidden gems in Pittsburg! I was visiting from Indianapolis for the Monday Night Football game and wanted to grab breakfast the morning we were leaving. The owner came from behind the counter to speak with us and was so kind. The food was amazing. I highly recommend the Bacon Egg & Cheese sandwich. I look forward to trying the new sandwich “The Joey” when I am in Pittsburgh again.
Had stopped in for açai bowl last week, when we discovered the Amazing buns they offered. Had to bring the children this week to appreciate the sweet and savory buns offered. You won't leave hungry. Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian savory sandwiches, and a number of alternative milks that they're able to use in preparing drinks. Kid-friendliness: The Ibiza Ice Cream bun, filled with Nutella and Vanilla ice cream is perfect for children Dietary restrictions: They are able to substitute for dairy, and customize ingredients to accommodate diets. Their menu already has a number of items to accommodate vegetarian and vegan diets.

Delicious sandwiches, and tasty coffee and chai tea. Variety of options for sandwiches, coffee and tea plus exceptional desserts . Great and pleasant service! Highly recommended!
So glad this restaurant has opened up. It has really expanded the breakfast options in Oakland! Had the sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwich...but it was really hard to decide among the options!
Very cool atmosphere. Great coffee. Amazing breakfast sandwich. Definitely recommend!
Awesome café in a prime location. I love all the unique flavors that set this place apart, such as their orange blossom or pink rose latte. The cinnamon buns were delicious. Cool atmosphere and friendly service. I'd come back in a heartbeat if I find myself in this area again.
