I really like coming here because they are open late and you can make your own bubble tea selection. I guess what I mean is that you can customize your bubble tea order. The popping bubble is interesting but I do prefer the original tapioca pearls. There’s also nice outdoor seating so definitely consider coming here or if you’ve never had bubble tea here before.
The main reason this place is getting a two star review is because you can’t select whether you want actual tea added into the drink or not. You have to choose between jasmine or black tea, which both make the beverage taste like either one very potently. I ordered the vanilla flavor with black tea & tapioca, and it tasted like iced black tea. You can only taste test the different options bubble options, but you can’t taste test any of the flavors. They do offer soy milk as a non-dairy option, which is kind of nice. But given the fact that their flavors are mainly just going to taste like iced tea, I don’t think it’s worth it. My brother ordered the honey flavor, and the mango flavor, both with jasmine tea, and they both tasted like jasmine tea. The mango one tasted a little bit like mango, but it had a strong jasmine tea flavor to it.
High quality bubble tea. After my somewhat disappointing purchase from Love Tea, I wanted to try a different boba store as well. This place definitely delivered. They have many of the classics as well as their own unique options. Plus, there are 2 confident Fuku Tea locations around Pittsburgh. I tried their small pineapple smoothie with the popping yogurt bubbles. It was definitely very good. You can control your sweetness level, so if you want a healthier drink, just opt for low sweetness. There's even an 'extra sweet' option some places don't have. I just opted for regular sweetness. Such a variety of different add one, from the boba pearls to the yogurt to jellies...it's great! Good amount of milk options too. I went with regular 2%. The drink was very good. A bit expensive, but nothing crazy. In line with other options for portion and price. The yogurt pearls were amazing, with a slight tart but still sweet burst every time I tried them. The pineapple was refreshing and not too icy. All in all, I definitely recommend this place. It's especially good when the weather is warm outside. There are a wide variety of add ins and an option for nearly anyone. Boba lovers will likely enjoy Fuku Tea. Vegetarian options: Almond milk options, teas without milk Dietary restrictions: Good for vegetarians looking for something sweet
Fav bubble tea place in Pittsburgh Make sure to ask for tapioca because they won’t put it in if you don’t ask, which is understandable because not all people like tapioca. They tend to run out of tapioca near the last half hour of closing, so keep that in mind also. They have the most amazing and diverse varieties of flavor, plus they’re not afraid to mix milk with the fruity teas, which is great because a lot of places won’t even let you do that at all I love this place. Highly recommend. :
I ordered strawberry milk tea with mango pooping boba. It was so good! Wow! That was great! I think next time I will definitely try a different flavor to see if I like that too. But this one was definitely not disappointing. I felt as if I had an infinite amount of pearls. Fuku tea is so generous with their pearls I love it!
They have great boba! Honestly, it's like the only boba place in the area and is a favorite amongst a lot of people. I love their original, hong kong, and matcha milk teas the best! They usually have nice seasonal drinks and offer customization.
Fuku Tea is one of my favorite places in the whole city, especially since the Beehive shut down. I personally would really recommend the Thai tea and the honeydew smoothie - the tea is exactly the right amount of sweet and it's a great carrier for any kind of jellies, and the smoothie legit tastes exactly like super sweet perfect honeydew. They also have desserts in a little glass case; they're a little expensive for what you get, but they are good, it's a cute lunch date thing to get. But the drinks are amazing, I tell people all the time to come here - in fact, I just started a new job up the street and I'm already trying to start a little Fuku Club to go regularly lol.
I love that you can customize your own bubble tea! They offer a lot of different varieties and let you choose up to two flavors. They also give you a lot of tapioca or other topping of your choosing. When I’m away at school, I often miss Fuku Tea because they can’t compete and don’t let me customize.
Delicious tea, best I've ever had. Would love if this place grows to open locations elsewhere, like Copley OH cause that's where I live lol Food: 5/5
The drinks were good butbthe Boba was flavorless. Idk if that was on purpose or I needed to ask specifically for a flavor. Will try again. The cashier was super helpful for picking a simple one for my husband.Food: 4/5
