Beautiful but could be better. I love the view from the hotel and the entrance is to die for, the lobby and inviting a very fun design. A bit whimsical and classic all at the same time. I love that this hotel has lots of space for events. The event hall is nice airy and will put together perfect for conventions family reunion’s conferences. For that reason this hotel feels a bit busy, And a bit noisy. The Room: I love the room it was nice and clean I adore the backboards to the beds. The velvet touch is so classic. My room had a Vaulted ceiling which was to die for. The only thing about that was it did not cool the room down because of the height of the ceiling so we were a bit warm at night no matter how long the Ac was running. The only complaint I could say was the bathroom was a bit small and no matter how long I ran in the hot water it never even got warm. Thank God I’m not the kind of person who has to take hot showers because I would have been upset. All in all this was a great day and beautiful stay. The Glam Boss

I had a great stay here. The pool area and the workout room. Are very nice. The free cookies at check-in are a nice touch. The free shuttle to and from the beach was very convenient and the drivers were friendly. My room was clean and updated.

The rooms are comfy. Bar is nice. Outdoor areas are comfortable. All the great spots are near beach. The only downside is no laundry facility for the constant travel traveler.

BEWARE!!!! Our family checked into the hotel on 12.29.17 around 9pm. My husband provided me with a room key to room 702. I took my 2 young daughters to the room due to the time and driving 14 hours. We swiped our room key in the security key holder for the door. Green light went on and we opened the door. As soon as we opened the door, there laid an elderly middle aged man laying on the bed in his boxer shorts. Immediately I began to apologize and say, "oh my God!" as my daughters were screaming. The man was saying hello to us and how could he help us. I immediately closed the door, ran to the elevators with my daughters. When I got downstairs I had my 8 year old get my husband and I waited to speak to staff.... who told me I was wrong no one was in the room. It was embarrassing, traumatic, and scary to think that we could be assigned a room that had already been occupied! Could you imagine if I allowed my child to go ahead of me and open the door prior to me or my husband being there and this man taking my child. could you imagine if he was 100% naked. Could you imagine if I was in the room and then a man came in the room/ roles being reversed?! This is absolutely unacceptable, frightening, and god forbid someone had a gun, someone could have been raped, kidnapped, etc!!!! My 3 year old drew the "scary naked man" at school when she returned and told the teacher about it. Do NOT stay here!!!

We went to Double Tree for our kick off meeting at work. They provided a continental breakfast which was good and the conference room was clean. It was a great set up and location for our company event.
