This is an awesome campground!  Very much in keeping with the feel of the Adirondacks!  Bathrooms are very clean, tent sites are very secluded, and the owners are the best!  We come to this campground every chance we get and each year it is better!  The new owners have been working very hard!!

Staff was friendly. Stayed on a Tuesday night so it wasn't very busy. We asked for their 'best site' available and were given site #3. When we got there we found that it was very small, had a second sewer drain that emitted a constant and strong sewer smell, our site backed onto the noisy highway, and the washrooms were very dirty and smelled like urine. There was a coin operated machine in the showers but I didn't want to use them so I can't vouch for whether or not they were in operation. We arrived in lake Placid around 7pm so we didn't have much time to shop around for campgrounds. Also note that the park is shared with permanent trailer housing. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this campground.

A wonderful place to visit. The owners Leah and Chip are fabulous accommodating people.  We will definitely be coming back again.

Great quiet little Campground it doesn't get a lot of action the amenities are kind of dated but if you're just there for overnight to hike in the Adirondacks or something it's great and really affordable too

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, clean bathrooms and showers. Pretty quiet. Cabins were great and warm. Close to hiking and a short drive to Lake Placid. Traveling with dogs can be difficult but not here! Extremely dog friendly! We'll definitely be back!
