I had the bourbon chicken and crab Rangoon. I have definitely had better Chinese food by 1000. However, the flavor was decent, it just wasn't GOOD. The rice was overcooked, and they drown it in the ehhh bourbon sauce. Usually, bourbon chicken is bomb. But it was doable & I wasn't 100% disappointed however I do now see why my best friend always avoided getting Chinese from here. The Rangoon was alright. They def get an A for effort and not charging for extra duck sauce.
Everything tastes fresh and good. Lots of condiments. Owners are very friendly. My favorites are the dumplings and chow meins. Their bourbon chicken is the only letdown. It just tastes like soy sauce marinated. Bourbon chicken from my experience had a sweet/savory glaze. So just get anything else. Loads if options to choose from.
Price is reasonable flavor is definitely there but I couldn't chew the meat was sort of rubbery. And if I get fried rice I'm used to being fried with soy sauce in it they do the yellow rice here understandable it's still good different strokes different folks but the rubbery meat is sort of put me off
This was the absolute worst Chinese food we’ve ever had, period. The order was wrong, and no. I’m not driving all the way back to correct it. The pancake for the mu shu pork was terrible, hard and cracker like. The mu shu pork itself was disgusting. The hot and sour soup was inedible. Seriously, tasted awful and went right into the bin. The Mongolian beef was not like any I’ve ever had or seen. I’m not convinced it was the correct dish. The lo mein was flavorless, and too salty to eat. Looked like it has been soaking in soy sauce for hours. Actually, all of it was flavorless and cold. Not tepid, cold as if it had been sitting on a counter for hours. The dumplings were tough and seemed closer to grocery store frozen than restaurant made. Spring roll and egg roll were cold and oily. The service was chaotic, first asking for what I had ordered, then my telephone number, then someone yelling from the back that they found the order. $40+ later and were hungry because this food was so very lousy. We will NOT be returning.
Tried it for the first time despite other negative postings. Ordered moo goo gai pan and was pleasantly surprised. Everything was fresh and tasty, will try again. Kinda weird the place was still sealed up like at the start of the pandemic though.
i came here for the first time today and had a good experience. i ordered general tso’s and beef chow mein both good. particular complements on the fried rice, this restaurant has got it right its light and fluffy unlike many places and isnt oil-laiden. thank you
Ok Chinese food. Portions are on the smaller side and lunch specials don't come with egg rolls.
So, so bad. The fried rice looks like it belongs next to a sad taco. She made a point to tell me that Mongolian beef is spicy... to whom? I had to add my own red pepper flakes and it wasn’t even the correct dish. The egg roll was filled with just cabbage. This food is not comparable to what I’ve had at any other Chinese place I’ve been too ever in my life.
I ordered the hot and sour soup. They make it vegetarian and it had a lot of flavor. There was quite a few more veggies in it than I'm used to, which was also a plus. They have friendly service and are easy to speak to in the phone. The price was as expected for takeout Chinese food.
They are HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!! They change prices on you AFTER you've ordered. They decided when I came to pick up and pay, that chicken prices has gone up, therefore they charged me $3 extra per meal.
