I would like to caution families going to this hotel. The walls are very VERY thin. A gang of motorcyclist where staying there the night we were there. Listening to them rev there engines upon their return from the bar was the least of our worries. The party continued in their room and we felt we were a part of it.

We just stayed here the other day. It was absolutely disgusting. We were put in a tiny corner room despite there being many others open. The ceiling was yellow in spots and leaking from the rain. There was a huge gap between the bottom of the door and floor so everything in the room was damp feeling. The room smelt of urine, the water smelt of feces, it had a super 8 hotel ice bucket, the fridge and micro didn't work, it was very dirty and the WiFi worked only worked a half of a day.I wouldn't recommend anyone ever staying here

RANT ALERT!: I gave it one star bc I had to. Hmmm, where to start?? Ahh, My husband owns a construction company and had a contract out in Portland (I tagged along for the Lobster), being that most of the decent hotels are way expensive, we settled on this. The outside put us off a bit but the reservation was made. One of his employees rode up with us, but opted to reserve a room elsewhere. I checked into the room, management was friendly enough. When asked how many guests I said my husband and I. The room was clean and comfortable. The old school vibe was somewhat charming. We left to take his employee to his hotel about 20 min away, but by the time we got there his reservation was cancelled. We told him he could stay with us for the night. We got back and I went to the front to inform the clerk we had an extra guest, but the front desk was closed. I decided I'd tell them in the morning. But the next morning I get a call from the front asking if an enterprise truck outside belonged to me, I said no but they kept saying they'd check the camera like I was lying. She then proceeds to say something about my amount of guests to which I replied yes there are three ppl here but the truck isn't mine. They hung up called back and said it would be extra, we said that would be fine and before I could get my shoes on to go pay they were all at the door telling us to get out bc we're liars. Worst Customer Service Experience Ever!

The prices were incredibly reasonable. The staff, both housekeeping and office, were exceptionally hospitable and helpful. We found our experience to be enjoyable and we'll definitely be coming back in the future. Thank you LuLu and Ike.

Very clean. Our room had wooden floors. We enjoyed our stay very close to many attrations including old orchard beach. With great and courteous service. Would recommend Will go again
