On first glance, the Hilltop Motor Inn may not look like much- just another plain, ordinary motel that has seen better days. But the Hilltop is an excellent value, especially for this part of Maine. The location is perfect- right on 195, closer than any other motel in the area to I-95. Why fight beach traffic? The beach is still very close, but the Hilltop's location makes going to other destinations (Portland, Maine Mall, Hannaford's...) much easier than coming and going from Old Orchard or other more touristy areas. Plus, it's much quieter than the beach motels- I had to weave through several police cars with sirens on in the parking lot of a motel/ restaraunt I went to for dinner in O.O.B. last friday, and was glad I wasn't staying there- the whole place was lit up like Christmas through my whole meal, and I'm sure long after I left..! The Hilltop is always quiet and relaxing, especially in the mornings. 
Considering these factors, and the price, this is definitely Maine's best value!
