I stayed over night in Ripley West Virginia. Initially, our room had not been cleaned since the prior guest had checked out. The staff was understanding and apologetic, moving us to a clean room. Breakfast left something to be desired; the eggs were odd and the sausage soggy. The muffins and waffles we're good. I would stay again if in the area.

I am giving them a 4 because they are trying. The breakfast was better than the Holiday inn in Ripley with waffles, biscuits and gravy, yogurts, lots of cereal and fresh fruit 
The lobby is nice and redecorated. The room had a great comphy bed but in the remodel they missed things like wallpaper under the sink, touch up paint. The property manager needs to walk the property inside and out and make a tick list and get a small crew on it and this could beat any area hotel. Just a bit more effort.

Well... don't even know where too start. 
A week ago my wife and I along with our two Chihuahuas stopped there approx. ,2 am.  We were exhausted and needed sleep. 
We didn't want tho go to go to a high priced hotel for just a few hours sleep.  I rented a room with 2 double beds.  
We paid 80 for the room and 30 for the dogs, which were surprised it was so expensive.  But we couldn't drive longer so we took it. 
The first thing we noticed as the peeling wall paper and a bottle cap laying in the floor.  
We noticed dirt on the bed that had fallen from the ceiling.  
My wife went into the bathroom and closed the door and the wall behind the door was covered In dirt and dust bunnies.  
We were so tired that we just stayed but needless to say didn't rest well. 
We could have stayed at a big hotel fire close to that same amount.  
It was a dirty place! But the kid who checked is in was nice.  That was the only positive thing.  
That was our experience so enter at your own risk.

We stopped because we were so tired and rented a room. 
We had our two Chihuahuas.
My husband went and rented the room and came back and said they charged 80 for the room and 30 for the two dogs. 
We were expecting a decent room.i
The room was nasty! 
Lose wallpaper, one of the beds had black specks that we checked out and it was from the ceiling.
Then I went into the rest room to change my clothes and when I closed the door there was dirt and dust bunnies stuck tio the wall. The hair dryer didn't work and looked like it had melted.
The staff was friendly though!! Butt for 110.00 we were very upset. 
Would not stay there for free!!!

Ok for a night, kinda rough. Sink looked like it was going to fall off the wall, toilet was wobbly. It was ok otherwise. Not worth $70/night but when traveling...
