We booked this place last minute, since we were going to a concert at the staple center. I got admit the location is everything. The rooms are nice and clean and well-maintained and access to the staple center is right across the way. Only thing was that the restaurant closed early and I know they have some pretty good house DJs there. Would definitely recommend to stay here after a long night of partying.

This is a very nice and clean establishment with all the comforts that you would expect... The staff is professional and the maids are caring and do a very through inspection and cleaning ... The location is the best if you are visiting Universal Studios and the vicinity... Hotel is well lit and secure. The manager is very observant of whom enters the premises. I Recommend!

Newly remodeled older place. Less than 20 rooms. Wouldn't pick as I dropped by, but glad we stayed. Office staff was very accommodating and polite. Rooms have tile, rather than rug. Bathroom was spacsus. Small fridge was convenient.

Ughh, when my family and I rolled into this gig, we thought it was going to be better on the inside than what the outside looks like. We were wrong. The overall place looks somewhat clean, yet old. And in desperate need of a renovation. The place attempts to have some sort of class, which is noticeable. We stayed in room 1 for one night only. During my visit I found a small space, and looks nearly nothing like the previews. so we are not sure if there is any room service here to maintain the rooms tidy. This hotel focuses more on the overall aesthetic of the gig more than the use of it itself. For example, nice clean white hotel towels, ended up being stiff to the touch. Another example is cute little soap bar, which you will get absolutely no suds out of unless you go hard on it. And another example would be the bed, it looks nice with it's pretty dark bed frame and matching bedding, but the bedding to our entire family felt vulgar, and like it wasn't clean. We ended up using only the thin bed sheet under the comforter.The mattress was also very uncomfortable, and made of metal springsAnd ANOTHER, yes, ANOTHER examples are the tv and fridge. You're pleased to have a modern tv that isn't outdated, but the thing is, the quality is not good, and there is a very poor selection of channels to choose from. And to top it all off, the only channels there had outdated old shows and movies. For the fridge it's small, a mini fridge we are all used to having in our hotels. Thing is, it is losing shelves, and the door for the freezer is missing. Second to last example would be the ac, it was getting hot in the room so we turned on the ac, only to smell a disgusting scent of fire crackers coming from the ac. Now last example is the bathroom. A little class thrown in there with the counter top, floor, and lights. The lights however flickered a lot, which is not good since it could put people in the hospital with the flash coming from the lights. The shower has cracked tiles, very unpleasant. Not to mention when I got the shower handle to turn on the shower, there was lots of hair that was not ours. We felt uncomfortable and unsafe that there was a window right next to us, and a door that had no latch, so anyone from the front desk with another key could come in while we are asleep and take our stuff. Over all this place has a lot of problems, for one night we only paid about $100+ , which seemed okay, but this hotel was far below our satisfaction. I do not recommend this hotel to any one even though it is close THE the universal theme park.
