Some of the best customer service I have ever received at a hotel. The street appearance might not seem like much but the rooms were awesome. Decent size rooms, good bathroom with full size shower and refrigerator. Highly Highly recommend if staying near Universal Studios Hollywood.

Loved staying here. There are so many good things to say about this little place. Management knew who we were when we arrived, very knowledgeable of the area, and I loved talking with them. Rooms where very simple and clean. I loved how quiet it was not sharing walls or having people above us. Very close to Universal Studies and loved the ten minute walk to get there.

My first impression is that it is very cute. Then the service we have received has just been spectacular. We've only been here for our fist night and the only complaint I might have is the shower could be a little bigger.

My husband and I stayed at the El Royale hotel for two nights and loved it. It is a great deal for the price and location. You're able to walk to Universal Studios, and tons of delicious restaurants! The staff is friendly, and happy to recommend restaurants! The rooms are very cute, and the furniture is great too. We slept well, and enjoyed our stay! The breakfast selection is a little limited, due to the size of the area, but it was very tasty.

Nice people.clean rooms,free parking. Not really cheap, so it is expected! Second day: we had a little incident and we had to change rooms. Robert and a guy from Bolivia ( managers) handled the situation fast and we got another room in the new wing. The new wing is why I give them 5 stars - modern and functional with enough room and conveniences- The 2 managers are very nice too. There is a microwave in the main office and each room has a fridge plus normal TV, hair blower, ironing board, coffee maker with complementary coffee. PS the new wing is called El Royal Gardens. 10 min walk to Universal Studios.
