The pool is to die for. So nice. Didn’t freeze and the hot tub was amazing. Everyone was super nice. Only drawback is have enough extra $$ that you wouldn’t need access to $400-500 after you leave as it takes time to have the deposit re-credited to bank account dependent on your bank

Nice setting. Retro type feel. Rooms are basically a bed, small table, mini closet, patio, and a restroom wit a small shower. Paint was peeling and the vent about the shower head looked like it needed to be cleaned but other than that room is nice. Halls a bit uneven, only saw stair. Nice pool area with a bar. The have a cafe. Parking is 18 dollars per night. Not sure why.

I was there for an event put on by a local newspaper. There was very limited parking as the hotel had rented out part of the parking to a movie crew. It was the first time I had been to the Sportsmen's Lodge since the renovation. Although many things were improved it is still an older property and shows a lot of its age. On a high note the staff was very welcoming and helpful.

This would be a 5 star rating except for the private, outdoor party held Friday night. My room was at the end of the hall... close to the music. I called the front desk and was told the band would play until 10 or 10:30. Fortunately I had a white noise app to drown out most of it. I can't imagine doing this with other customers staying there and with no warning. Normally this is a 5 star hotel. I'm not sure if I will come back.

Been going here for years. They've really done a great job renovating and giving it a fresh new look. Beds are comfortable and bathrooms good. I don't like staying on the interior rooms next to the pool if I'm there to work. Sliding glass doors are really thin and depending on the night the pool stays pretty loud until curfew or sometimes later.
