Much preferred this to Heron. Great camp host (Hey Thomas!). Really clean facilities and great showers. Very quiet and lots of shade. We didn't bring kids, but noticed there was a playground.

Three nights tenting over memorial day weekend. Windy in afternoons with mid 70s and overnight lows in mid 30s. Very green and beautiful. Shower restroom and kids playground maintained. Campground host very nice and helpful. The drive from Albuquerque is not bad at all. Sights by boat ramp have a street light​ in area. No fishing or boat but enjoyed campground.

This is a beautiful campground but there are very few spots with Verizon service. The spots near the playground and ones that are near the water but not far from the playground give you the best chance of getting service. I was told that there are a few hook-ups but I couldn't find them.

This is a great lake to visit during the summer, they have a nice camp ground with water and electricity, the camp sight has also calmed down a lot since the last time I was there
