Since 1946, Electronic Surplus has been serving the needs of hobbyists, inventors, HAM radio operators, engineers, and technicians in Cleveland, Ohio and around the world. We specialize in hard to find electronic parts from audio ICs and devices, to transformers and relays. Our inventory is made up of obsolete and active items, all at surplus prices. Some items are gently used and others are new in the manufacturer's packaging.

Great collection of odd and even some very old electronics. Just flew in today and will be leaving Friday and was wanting to stop by but they are only open on Saturdays unfortunately. Other than that it's a cool place for anyone that's into electronics/electrical stuff. They have a little bit of mechanical actuators as well which was what I was wanting to look at. Hopefully I'll be back in a few months and be here on a saturday.

Electronic surplus is one of the last truly great local resources for the avid hobbyist.  The fact that they still have a walk in store is great.  I cant even say how many times I've gone in and, come out with much more than I went there for. Its just not the same trying to shop on line!     Gary is the best! He knows the store inside and out, and is always eager to help.

I am bummed!  For a very long time, 30+ years, I have gone to Electronic Surplus for anything I needed as far as electronic parts.  For the past several weeks I have been stopping by their store, but it was closed.  Their are no trespassing signs on the doors.  Finally on my last stop, about a week ago, a new sign was posted that the store front was closed, but orders could still be placed on line.  I miss this great electronic store!!  I hope they re-open soon!
