Great Service. I came in upset and left thinking I wouldn't buy a bike anywhere else. I bought a bike for my 8 year old a few months back. One of the things that sold me on the bike in the first place was that they had a one year service guarantee so if the bike broke, we could bring it in and they would fix it. We don't know much about mountain bikes so we picked one that was a little cheaper since he is bound to outgrow it in a year or two. We live right by Duthie Hill Park so we have been there a half a dozen times with the bike. We started noticing that the brakes weren't working right and the chain on the bike kept falling off. After going to Steven's Pass to go downhill mountain biking, I came to realize that the bike we bought was not going to work. I brought the bike into the shop upset that it was giving us problems and the lady that greeted us at the door was very quick to calm me down and offered a solution that went above and beyond what i was expecting! She explained to me that the bike we bought wasn't meant for the things that we were using it for. So after months of use on the bike we bought, they allowed us a full refund in exchange for a bike that was meant for the things that we use it for. My 8 year old was SO excited about the new bike and I was SO excited in the way they handled the situation. It is refreshing to see a company that stands behind the products they sell. I have already told this story to 3 other people and the reaction is the same.. they all can't believe that this type of service still exists. Keep up the good work Element Cycles!!

Great product available, however that was not my reason for going in. My De Rosa Sesanta was having some issues after being shipped over from Europe. As I walked back to the service department (not being acknowledged), I watched what appeared to be a high school student working on a very expensive Colnago. He was struggling to make what looked like a very minor adjustment to the derailleur. At that point I understood that the service department wasn't up to an exacting high standard, so I turned around and left. This may be a great shop to purchase high end product at, but it doesn't seem like a good spot to receive high end service.

Well supplied store with many North American built bicycles and not just the Asian giants. Very informed and friendly staff. I purchased a bike there last year which entitled me to free basic tune ups and refitting through the end of this year. Plus a discount on all accessories through the year.

This is really a great shop for mid-to-higher end bikes/bikers. I've bought 2 bikes there and in both cases the staff really steered me right -- and off my original thoughts. The folks working there all seem to ride and can give good advice and if you actually listen they will steer you in the right direction. They don't have Trek or Specialized - the 2 biggest brands - but a host of smaller, cool brands. The Pivot mountain bikes are top notch, and they have a bunch of higher end road bike brands like BMC and Colnago. Plus E-bikes. I bought a Pivot MTB and a Norco cross/winter-roadie bike. I've also rented MTB bikes there and they have a great selection of rental bikes that are in fine condition. They set them up nicely for you before they send you out. And they have some $50/day bikes -- cheapest in the area -- that are great. Go ahead and rent the $100/day bikes if you want of course. Of course this is probably not the place to go if you are looking for a $300 bike or to have your 25 year old bike fixed up for $1.27.....
