If you are looking for a vet who gives your animal the best care. Is incredibly knowledgeable and has proven their ability to save lives. This is the place for you. My animals all go here and two owe their lives to this vet. They think very highly of this place.

I cannot say enough good things about this clinic!  My 5 year old dachshund was diagnosed with stage 4 periodontal disease so I knew he would need serious dental work.  I wanted the best care I could find so I was careful in my search for a good vet.  I decided to give Elgin Family Pet Center a try and I am so very pleased I did.  They clearly and thoroughly explained the disease and what would be required to treat it.  After the treatment, I was informed exactly what they did and why it was needed.  Not only that,  I was given pictures of his xrays showing the bone loss and color before and after photos of his teeth and gums. The vet techs seemed well trained and compassionate. Dr. Sirmons is an awesome vet and I look forward to her taking care of both of my fur babies in the future.   The receptionist are very friendly and helpful.  I highly recommend this veterinarian clinic!

When I had called to make an appointment for our dog, I let them know that Primo had some behavior issues. The receptionist didn't even hesitate, she didn't seem concerned at all (Which was a good thing). When we brought him in, our wait time was not long at all. Hannah was our tech and she was AMAZING!!! She wasn't afraid of Primo and wasn't in the least bit worried about handling him. They were concerned for his health and safety and actually liked him!!! When they were done he was wagging his tail and happily taking treats from Hannah. I can not say enough about how happy we were with our experience!!

20 mins till close and no one answers the phone
Update to my visit. I'm changing this from a 2 star to a 1 star because you can't go lower. My experience with this place was bad. I took her in for a check up and in less than 6 months she was dead. I was told she was in good health. I would not suggest these people to a friend.
