Excellent service. Davis came out and provided a quote that was half what the other guys wanted to charge. He also did a window-by-window assessment of our home and living spaces to ensure we got the right equipment. His recommendation was actually a smaller AC unit than the other companies tried to sell us, and he offered a solid technical explanation as to why too much tonnage in your AC is not a good thing. The install was done in a single visit, and the electrician they sub-contracted was also top-quality. I would definitely buy HVAC from Energy Works again down the road.

Energy Works representative, Davis, went above and beyond our expectations when he came out to our home yesterday for an estimate on adding a heat pump, AC, and an air purification system at our home. Not only was Davis a wealth of information about our options, but he helped us better understand the workings of our existing furnace and air filtration system - going so far as to clean our existing furnace filters! He even recommended we get a blower door test to check for home air quality before we make a final decision, despite the fact that Energy Works doesn't do the blower tests. We will definitely contact Energy Works when we make a decision on moving forward with a new HVAC system.

Davis was awesome. We had a suspision of a leak in our furnace so we called Davis for a new quote. He came and spent a great amount of time evaluating the furnace and AC unit. He even did a better job than few other paid service reps from other companies whom I paid about 200 dollars to came ensure the furnace and all they did was scared me. David gave me quotes of various systems they sell. But more importantly he ensured that I understood all the details and he put my needs in front of the sale. He came back the next day to do a smoke test of my current furnace, and concluded that the furnace does not likely have a leak. Wow.. just wow.. when I do need to change the furnace I will definately and strongly consider working with Davis

WOW! This company is phenomenal. Every step from initial request for an estimate through final billing was courteous, friendly, attentive, and professional. In today’s world those traits are extremely rare in all aspects of life, but Energy Works nails it. In my house, built in 1947, I had an electric water heater, a gas furnace that heated the downstairs, and a boiler/radiator system for the upstairs. You can probably guess my utility bills, especially in winter, were ridiculous. Plus, since my house is not a mansion by any stretch of the imagination, these three different systems were taking up a lot of space. Energy works didn’t pop up with an “in your face” ad when I was looking for companies to get bids from during my search. However, they were on Google. I called them, as well as a few other companies. My initial contact was met with enthusiasm. I gave them my information and they said Rich would contact me. I expected to get a call from a salesman. Rich, who turned out to be the owner, contacted me and personally came out to give the estimate. I had already received three other estimates and was pretty sure, with what he was saying they would install (upgraded radiators, zone control manifold, copper plumbed mechanical room, etc…) that his would be the most expensive. I was wrong. He was right in the mid-range and the price didn’t change one penny when the bill came. I went with Energy Works after three weeks of careful deliberation. I compared, or at least tried to compare, every bid by breaking it down to apples and apples. I asked the other companies “what if we did this instead” questions. Every time I did this, the competition’s price for the job grew. Not that I knew what to ask, it’s just that Rich pointed out differences between what his company does as standard and what to look for in a bid. The day before the job started Rich and two of the nicest guys you’d ever meet (Cody and Caleb)showed up and briefed for the install. For the next three days they worked long hours transforming my mechanical room into a work of art, carefully calculating radiator placement in the house, and installing everything for minimum disturbance. The fourth day they tidied up and gave me an in-depth walk through of the system and operation. The office personnel set up the inspection for the system so that it only took a couple days for the inspector to come out. That in itself is amazing as our city inspector is spread pretty thin during the summer months. Needless to say everything passed. The inspector has many decades of experience and he thought it was a great job; one of the best he’d ever seen. When it was all said and done I had a 95% efficient gas boiler system that heated upstairs, downstairs, and the domestic hot water tank. Bonus: the entire system, including domestic hot water, fit in the room where only the old boiler once lived. Energy Works has an owner that has been involved in the heating business for over thirty years at every level from apprentice installer on up to the top. They have top-notch, friendly technicians with years of experience. Their office staff is one of the best I have ever worked with personally and professionally. Not once was I met with any eye rolling or “you’re taking up my time" attitude from anyone I communicated with at Energy Works about my heating issues, no matter how ignorant I must have seemed. Energy Works doesn’t have a high dollar celebrity or sports figure in any ads or on their trucks. They don’t have a team of sales-people skilled in “The art of the Deal”. They don’t need it. Their work says it all. That savings goes in the customer’s pocket. No, I didn’t receive anything but a great system and experience to do this review. I wasn’t compensated in any way except happiness and contentment. And for anyone reading this who is thinking that no company can be perfect, you’re right. I noticed one flaw. One of their trucks had a little rock stuck in the right side back tire tread.

ABOVE AND BEYOND. Wow. its 9:15 pm on a Friday night. The technician just pulled away from our house. He came out this afternoon to fix our broken boiler. After calling around to get the part, make special arrangements to pick it up after hours on a Friday evening, then came back and didn't leave until he had our boiler up and running. We can take showers and wash dishes this weekend. I am beyond impressed. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!
