My heat pump was installed in 2009 and it has been my most wonderful investment!!!. Olympic quickly and courteously takes care of any of the problems that arise. They are very good about tidying up everything before they leave so all is neat and clean. And all the techs know what they are doing and know where to get help if they need it.. I have just made my third recommendation to friends that have been happily impressed with their installations. I highly recommend this company over others I interviewed.

My 35+ year old furnace was suddenly tripping the breaker on a regular basis. Called Olympic Mechanical out kind of expecting to be told the furnace was dead or at the very least they'd have to go find some obscure, and presumably expensive, parts for what is a comparitively old furnace. Their electrician, Jesse, checked out the entire furnace, then took at the electrical panel. He found that the panel had been installed poorly, with a lot of breakers not tightened down properly, which had resulted in the breaker getting overheated. He tightened them all for me, which seems to have fixed the problem, and explained how I could replace the burned breaker myself. While doing all this, he provided me a lot of answers about heat pumps, how one might be installed in the home, how they work with the PUD, and incentives that PUD offers. Overall, awesome service. My only bugbear was that the dispatcher, who I think was the owner, told me the call-out charge included the first hour of service, which Jesse told me it did not. So while I was happy to not have to pay for any parts and the job was done quickly and efficiently, it cost me double what I thought it would for a repair. Would recommend them, though. In fact, will likely be talking to them soon about installing a heat pump to replace my electric furnace.
