This location used to be great. I don’t know what happened. We bring our RV to Gettysburg about once a month and usually rent a car for the time we are here. They advertise the fact that they will pick you up at your location. The past 7 or 8 times have never been an issue. We always call in the morning and with in an hour have our rental vehicle. We spent two hours trying to call this office today, but received no response. My husband called the general number after spending so much time trying to get in someone to answer the phone. The woman with who we dealt with was very condescending and said well maybe you should just pay a taxi since they obviously don’t answer their phones (ok? I thought companies answer their phones?!?). So he pays a taxi and it takes him to their Gettysburg location. He walks in and explains the situation. They offer no apology for not answering their phones for over two hours, making him take a taxi there or for not offering the we will pick you up service. They tell him first that there are no more vehicles left. My husband explains we have reservation. Magically they have a vehicle, but it’s a mini van. My husband tries to explain we had booked for a small car, and will not pay an upgrade for the vehicle. Finally gets the mini van after arguing about paying the upgrade (not our fault you overbooked vehicles). Awful customer service. No one offered any compensation for all of our time wasted or the fact that we had to pay for a taxi to get there. We used to use Enterprise for all of our trips. After today and the treatment we received, we will not use Enterprise.

I can not say enough about our experiences with Enterprise.  They are always there when we need them.  The local office staff us always a pleasure to work with.  I rent a vehicle once a month, I have never been disappointed.

So my car was totaled when it was hit by a drunk driver the other day. We went to Enterprise to get a rental car because I start my career soon. We have cards on file for my family however they said to use that card my father had to be present even though the reservation clearly stated that I would be picking up the car in his name. Then when I tried to use my card I got rejected for not being 25. The lady behind the desk was very unhelpful, go to Hertz instead.

Enterprise is my go-to car rental shop.  Over Over the years, all of the various locations I've been to have shown excellent customer service. Gettysburg Enterprise is no exception. Staff is courteous and friendly.

We couldn't be more pleased with the service we received. We booked the day before and were in and out in minutes. The make of the vehicle was even better than what we originally asked for and clean. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely use them again!!!
