While the staff was very nice and helpful, the car I received (a Toyota Corolla) should never have been rented.  As soon as I got up to about
40 mph on the freeway, I discovered the brakes were bad -- they pulsed and shook when depressed, like they would when both pads and rotors are worn out.  (Driving a few blocks around town one would not have easily noticed).  Since the car had over 40K miles, I suspect they had never been replaced and were just at end of life.  By the time I realized they were bad I was already well on my way to my destination (about 50 miles away) and
so I just carefully drove there, did not use the car for 3 days and drove back.  I told the staff about this when I returned but I would not be surprised if they simply sent the car back out again -- they thanked me for telling them but did not show alarm.

I have been renting cars for about 35 years from many companies and have never been allocated such a dangerous vehicle.  Enterprise needs to do better safety checks on their cars.  Brakes wearing out does not happen overnight, although the symptoms can appear overnight, and are easily discernable during periodic inspection and maintenance.

Very helpful, friendly and professional. They do everything in their power to make sure you are satisfied when you are leaving the office. I was pleased and definitely will go back there for my rental needs.

The Customer service people at this location were very professional and accommodating. My rental was during the Holiday and great shortage of available vehicle throughout the area, they were able to extend my rental at an affordable rate giving the fact that I wanted to return the vehicle that I had since it was more expensive than what I originally reserve. I will rent with them again.

What can I say? I received the "standard" service at the Shattuck Street, Berkeley, Enterprise earlier this month, which means that I got a great upgrade, a bit of extra time with the rental &, most importantly, super-friendly & super-helpful service. The Enterprise agent worked hard to meet my specific needs, then went quite a bit further! Moreover, when I accidentally left my house keys in the rental, staff found them & brought them to me very quickly! [Don't try testing this -- Enterprise has a very efficient system that makes car rental & drop-off almost seamless, so I really try to avoid getting in their way!] I really hope that there is never an occasion that I have to go to another car rental place.

Great service!! After a bad experience with Hertz where I always rent from, we decided to give Enterprise a shot. The guys called me the day before to verify my reservation and asked me if it was possible to go earlier to pick up the car since they knew it would be a busy Saturday before a long weekend! 
So we did, and the next morning we saw when we arrived at 8 in the morning that a few people had received the same call and were already there. No problem whatsoever since the guys were very fast and well organized, it took max 10 min to get us ready. 

To our surprise the car we had reserved was not available and only a minivan was available instead. To a bigger surprise to me (after a similar horrible Hertz experience), the guys at Enterprise were AMAZING and did EVERYTHING to make it right to us. They gave as a generous discount on the minivan making it actually cheaper than the intermediate we had booked, and even gave us gas allowance to compensate for the lower MPG of the minivan. Both Hung and the guy at the counter (can't unfortunately remember his name) definitely won my business over and we will be coming back!
