I drive a 2001Chevy Tahoe with almost 200,000 miles on it. It’s still a very reliable vehicle, yet on occasion, something goes wrong. Over the weekend, the driver side electric window got stuck in the down position, so naturally, I needed to have it repaired. Because of an extremely busy week ahead, I knew I’d need a vehicle to drive while my Tahoe was in the shop. I’d never considered renting a car before, but knew this time it would be necessary. Being a long-time Hertz Gold member, I tried to rent from a local satellite Hertz location in my area. Not feeling confident Monday morning that they even had a car for me, and then after two calls where I was put on hold and never got to confirm my car was available, I decided to give Enterprise a try. The initial call with the 1-800 number receptionist/booking agent was very pleasant. She was helpful and reassuring. And although Enterprise doesn’t honor AAA discounts like Hertz (I wish they did!), the overall cost wasn’t too hard to swallow. I picked up my vehicle, a 2018 Toyota Corolla, and was very pleased with how nice it was. Having owned a Toyota in the 1990’s, it was fun to drive one again. The checkout agent was so impressive and I really enjoyed my interaction with him. When somebody impresses me, I always ask their name, in case I have an opportunity to commend them on a survey. When by the next afternoon, I knew that my Tahoe was not going to be ready, I called Enterprise and extending the reservation another day was no problem at all. I was able to make appointments and commitments without having to worry about having a vehicle to drive. Upon returning the car when my repairs were completed, I was greeted in the parking lot again by the young man that checked me out. He drove me back to my mechanic, and we had the best conversation. He is an amazing young man with a bright future, and though I don’t think Enterprise is his final career choice, he has definitely brightened the Gretna, LA location by his mere presence. His name is Dakarai Howard, and he is a superstar! He and young people like him are still out there, which is so refreshing to this baby boomer. I hope that your company will continue to hire people of his caliber. It will always be a win-win! Working with Dakarai will be the main reason that I will not hesitate to use Enterprise again in the future should the need arise.

The staff here are WONDERFUL. Really nice, polite, and fun. They have made all my rental processes smooth and easy.

Although services were contracted thru the Ray Brandt Dealership the process was quick, painless and professional. I've used them in the past and have never had a reason to complain. Thank you gentlemen. Will certainly call you again if needed.

Horrible renting experiencing with Enterprises located on West bank Expressway in Gretna LA. Made reservations for a rental pick up a week ahead for thanksgiving holiday. Went to pick up the rental for a long drive at my reservation time and was advise by Hilary at this location that there's a 1 hour waiting period. I received no call advising me of this wait and was extremely disappointed as to I had reservations and it was already 2:30 p.m. Hilary didn't offer no concessions, other than she would call me once the car was ready. Enteprises didn't pick me up or drop me off, so this was a huge setback. As to i had to attempt to come back once the car was ready. Received a call from Hilary that the car was ready and "she would try to hold on to some keys for me". Hilary was probably oblivious to understanding how upset I was that I was going through this experience in which lost Enterprises a reliable customer and this is not the words you say to a customer who you failed. Reservations made. No courtesy call. Double trip to pick up car. 4 employees working from 2:30 to 4:41 in which is the time frame I received the keys. And Hilary tried to hold on to keys for my rental.

I picked up the car from California customs (who is absolutely incredible to work with and their business and work is second to none) ENTERPRISE rent a car left me very disappointed. The pick up and when I received the car was incredible they were friendly, informative, and helpful. I picked up a Sonata. I literally drove to and from work and the car was in my possession for 4 days total. 99% of the time it sat in Valet Parking as I have Valet Parking both at work and at home... I returned the car and the next night over 24 hours later a young man calls me from Enterprise and says do you want to tell us about the impact and damage you caused to the back bumper of the vehicle... I thought he was kidding at first... and I shared with him that there was no collision or impact while the car was in my possession. He said well, we have to file a claim. I shared with him that there was no damage to the car while in my possession and it must have happened as it sat in the parking lot out of my possession. I have Surveillance footage and photos of the entire vehicle 14 minutes prior to dropping it off and there was no accident from the 3 mile drive from work to drop off the car. As if I would not have stopped if I was in an accident and drop off the car and not say anything... the customer service and the way this young man spoke to me lacked professional, training, and was insulting. I told him I would call security and get the footage which I did and clearly there was no damage to the vehicle and the only follow up from them since the call was that they emailed me asking me to write this review.... horrible and poor customer service and if the car had damage it was either done unoccupied as it sat in your parking lot... or when the employee that picked it up got into an accident... either way... it was just a horrible phone call and a lousy way to talk to someone.
